Aagam Tushita-Nepal has 9 rooms named after the name of 9 planets. The building has been built according to Vastu - Shastra Fensui with the use of local skills and materials. Handmade stonewalls show tenderness of Nepalese craftsmanship and originality. Serpentine stone flooring, wooden parquet and well-furnished music, yoga and meditation room will truly please you. The top floor is called omkar kakshya (the universe) to receive cosmic energy and blessing from the Almighty Gorakhnath (Awakened form of God Shiva). From your terrace, you can watch the beautiful sunset and sunrise. And in the evening, a tent camp and BBQ place can be set up for you, a natural planetarium to watch stars.
Yoga and meditation was started from Nepal. May all the yoga lovers come to this place and discover the crystal clear evidence of the birthplace of Veda Vyasa who wrote the 4 Vedas (the book of knowledge); the father of literature and scientific discoveries. Therefore, they have established Aagam Tushita-Nepal for the noble cause.
Aagam Tushita-Nepal is the outcome of blood, tear, sweat and beautiful dreams having eternal truth. The whole space, including the interior design replete the natural, cultural and spiritual aspect of Nepal. This place is very rich in cultural heritage, bio-diversity, natural resources, and natural beauty despite their struggles for existence and being categorized as under develop country. To that end, they kept the name of their company Tushita with the sentimental attachment of their beloved country, Nepal.
To realize existence and to merge oneself with the divine energy is called yoga. In Aagam Tushita-Nepal, yoga is a way of living, an excellent spiritual lore of self-therapy and self-realization through which one can add soul to a supreme soul (aatma to paramatma). In short, yoga is the key for peace and happiness. It is inevitable for a healthy body, mind and soul.
Together with a small group of 2 to 6 participants, you will be practicing Hatha yoga - the father of all the yoga styles taught by Guru Gorakshanath - the father of yoga and meditation. You will learn the most authentic yoga and meditation method as how it was from the very beginning when it started and originated in Nepal. Thru practicing yoga in this majestic place, you shall get spiritual lectures for complete awakening.
Beside the fixed program, you will be handed over the guidelines in this serene environment. With Aagam Tushita-Nepals support, they will allow you to discover yourself; and try to know about the world, nature and the almighty creator.
Aside from the yoga trek, Aagam Tushita Nepal will also be organizing a Damaili visit, the birthplace of Veda Vyasa - the compiler of the 4 Vedas; the father of religious texts/literature, and the father of scientific discoveries. He wrote the noble path of Hatha yoga and meditation, which is believed to be the origin of yoga, as taught by Almighty Guru Gorakhnath. And then later on, the Hindus of India followed the noble path and spread the message to the world.
Rajesh has pioneered on an eco-resort and eco-farming in Pokhara, Tushita organic restaurant, natural products, which is a fair trade shop, Yogalaya (yoga and meditation school), freelance writer, photographer, book writer, and music composer. Now, he closed all the other companies and established Tushita-Nepal retreat resort for the noble cause. After a long wrestle, the mother-nature taught him the secret of bliss and beauty.
200 kilometer west from capital city Kathmandu, Aagam Tushita-Nepal is situated on the ridge of World Peace Stupa, which is a massive Buddhist stupa which was constructed by Buddhist monks from the Japanese Nipponzan Myhji organization. This is a place with an utmost tranquil atmosphere, far from the crowd. Magnificent views of the Himalayas (Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu) can be seen from the Aagam Tushita-Nepal premises, with the Annapurna Himalayan range resting just in front.
Aagam Tushita-Nepal serves only Ayurvedic vegetarian meals with a self-service practice. No additives and/or preservatives are added. Herbal tea/organic coffee and Himalayan herbal drinks are also provided for wellness to help your body detoxify during your stay.
Trekking, rafting, paragliding, mountain flights, wild honey hunting tours, jungle safari, a visit to Lumbini (birth place of Lord Buddha), and eco tours are the things to do when in Pokhara. Aagam Tushita-Nepal may organize such tours as per your interest.
Nature therapy and massage is available, together with healthy spa treatment and ofuro (Japanese bronze bath tub), at an additional cost.
