Yoga is perfect for people of all ages, shapes, and sizes. Your teacher will help you grow and develop your practice based on your personal level of physical fitness. If you have any questions beforehand, you are more than welcome to call or stop by the studio to talk with Absolute Sanctuary’s yoga instructors. Practicing yoga has a lot of benefits.
Regular yoga practice burns calories and can speed up your body’s metabolism, so many people do lose weight by practicing yoga. Practicing yoga regularly will also increase your flexibility many times over. Even being sweaty during practice is a good thing. Your skin is the biggest detoxifying organ in the body and sweating is one of the best ways to cleanse your system.
Pilates reformer
Absolute Sanctuary is the first resort that brings group Pilates reformer classes to Asia. Inspired by the unique programs of Absolute Pilates, Thailand’s first large group Pilates reformer studios, the classes center around the Pilates reformer machine. This machine can strengthen your core muscle groups, burn fat, and build long, lean, and toned muscles to achieve the ideal body.
Traditional Pilates classes are conducted one-on-one for rehabilitative purposes or mat-work-based. However, unlike the traditional Pilates classes, Absolute Sanctuary offers a fun-fully interactive, and dynamic group class experience on the reformer machine which is highly effective in building lean and toned muscles that will give you a slimmer figure.
Core blast
Core blast classes center around core suspend, a highly effective training tool using two separately anchored suspension ropes, ensuring core activation and full engagement of the entire body. This is further enhanced using a range of functional training accessories including toning balls, foam rollers, and resistance bands to create a fun-dynamic group class experience to get you in shape fast.
Unlike conventional fitness-based exercise programs, each core blast program has been precisely structured to ensure that students work in the targeted areas efficiently. Most importantly, students are taught how to properly use their breath and engage the right muscles for maximum results.
