French host
This is the perfect formula to combine contact with your hosts and independence during your stay. You will have your own room and share the bathroom with the host and/or with 2 or 3 other foreign students. An excellent way to facilitate your first steps in the city and in your new live in France. Before arrival at the French host, together with your booking confirmation, you will receive:
- Full contact details (address, phone, email)
- A description of the accommodation
- Information about your host's profile, (age, profession, hobbies)
- Some tips on how to behave in the host's home.
- Accent Français provides you with a template email to send to your guests to inform them of your day and time of arrival at the train station or airport.
Upon arrival, your host will show you your room and inform you about the living arrangements in the house. You will receive a set of keys and he will tell you how to get to Accent Français. You are recommended to contact your host at least one week before your arrival to introduce yourself. At that time you may arrange for a free pickup at the train station or airport (until 10:00 pm).
Tourist residence
The tourist residences, also known as Appart'Hotel, offer flats of a superior standard (air conditioning, TV, etc.) with a bathroom and equipped kitchen. You will also benefit from a hotel service with a 24-hour reception, a breakfast room as well as a bar and a business corner (meals and drinks at your discretion). They are located within walking distance of the school.
The residences offer studios (1 or 2 persons) and 2 or 3-room flats. As these accommodations are in high demand, you are advised to think about booking well in advance.
Before arrival, together with your booking confirmation, you will receive detailed information about your accommodation:

The location of the tourist residence is 5 minutes by tramway and 10/15 minutes walk from Accent Français. It is also 20 minutes from the beaches by car or 30 minutes by bus.
Program
This Montpellier course is a part-time program consisting of 24 weekly sessions in small groups. It is available in several levels, ranging from beginner (A0) to advanced (C1). It is based on reading, writing, comprehension, oral expression, and linguistics, which are all fundamental language skills. Participants will gain communication skills in both formal and informal settings.
In addition to the language classes, this course includes 8 cooking lessons, a full menu and tasting too. Every week, the cooking classes revolve around a different theme: a product, a meal type, or a technique! Most lessons will focus on how to prepare a fine 3-course meal, mastering some delicious dishes like pumpkin Velouté with truffle, stuffed southern vegetables and sweet, delicate macarons. Cooking sessions are given at a nearby school to the French language school. By sharing his recipes, suggestions, and methods, the chef will uncover the secrets of a successful dish. In the presence of the chef and the other participants, you will be able to not only cook but also sit down together and enjoy the delicious meals you have prepared.

At school, they will organise your French language courses with personalised learning path.
This French language program is available at all levels from beginner (A0) to advanced (C1). It is based on the French key linguistic skills: reading, writing, understanding and with particular care to oral expression and phonetics. Students will learn French to express themselves in both formal and casual conversations.
Thanks to the online French placement test they have developed, Accent Français team will ensure that you are placed in a group that corresponds to your level of French. Each Monday, your teacher will present you with the French pedagogical program of the week, the topics, the grammar points and the vocabulary to be worked on. Assessments will be carried out regularly and you will receive personalised feedback on your progress based on the objectives to be achieved.
100% of the courses are held face to face, in French, in a small group and by a native and qualified teacher of French! It is a full immersion that is expecting you here!

Schedules
- Classes are from 9 am to 12:15 pm from Monday to Friday and 12:30 pm-2:00 pm on Mondays and Fridays for pedagogical tutoring and workshop.
- Gastronomic cookery classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 9 pm (schedule subject to change depending on course attendance).
- During peak periods, the standard courses can also be held from 2:15 pm to 5:30 pm. The teaching team will choose your class and timetable. It will be displayed at school on every Friday for the coming week.

Dinners are included twice a week with the cooking classes. During the cooking classes, you will cook a typical French meal with a first course, main course and dessert. Once the class is finished (2 hours), you will have the opportunity to share your meal with the chef and other students or to take your meal away if you prefer. If you stay, the chef will provide water and wine for the dinner.
