Rarely visited by the average traveler, and certainly not on motorcycles, Nevado del Ruiz is considered to be one of the most exotic destinations in Colombia. Starting with warm temperatures, and ending next to the snow, this is one of the most biodiverse tours we offer.

Day 1: Medellin - Manizales

- Twisting, turning mountain roads leaving Medellin
- Stopover in the quaint town of Pintada
- Head up into the mountains on empty, gravel roads
- Overnight at a beautiful homestay outside Manizales
Day 2: Manizales - Nevado del Ruiz

- Riding hours: 5
- Mileage: 100km

Highlights include:
- Hours of awesome trail riding up to 4,500m above sea level
- Snow-capped mountain tops of the Nevado mountains
- Endless fields of frailejón, the strange mountaintop plants
- Private, thermal spring baths in the evening
Day 3: Nevado del Ruiz - Nevado del Ruiz

- Morning session in hot spring baths
- Descend to Murillo on the other side of the mountains
- Optional hike deeper into the snow-capped mountain range

Day 4: Nevado del Ruiz - Salamina

- Switchback, dirt trails up into the mountains around Salamina
- Visit the wax palms of La Samaria. The tallest in the world
- Explore the picturesque, mountain town of Salamina
- Overnight at a restored, 160 year old, colonial hotel
Day 5: Salamina - Medellin

- Riding hours: 5

- Highlights include:
- Breakfast in your rustic, colonial hotel
- Coffee stop overlooking the beautiful mountain town of Aguadas
- Lunch at a roadside smoke-house en route
- View of the Medellin sky-line from the las palmas viewpoint
- Finish: 4pm

Mateo Morales
Mateo joined the Adrenaline team in 2021, and helped pave the way for our new locations. Mateo has ridden extensively throughout 20 countries around the world, but has decided to come home to Medellin to take on the new routes we offer in Antioquia

Adrenaline Addicts know that good or bad food will make or break your experience while overseas, which is why they've gone and done all the hard work for you, trying just about every restaurant, eatery (and bar) imaginable along the routes, leaving your group with simply the best.
During these five days, you will experience a mix of fine dining experiences, international flavors, and traditional Colombian cuisine, all of which are of the highest quality. Vegetarian options are available at every meal, and most importantly are just as good as the omnivore options.
