Daily itinerary

Day 1: Arrival day and evening yoga (1,300 meters / 4,264 feet)

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), Adventure Mountain Explore Treks & Expedition will meet and greet you, then assist you to the hotel. Later that day, they will meet you again at their head office and introduce you to your yoga instructor and guide. You will be provided your first yoga session later that evening if you prefer.

If your flight arrives in time, you will be taken to one of the most popular local restaurants with delicious Nepalese food, cultural music, and ethnic dance. This will give you a glimpse into the different ethnic groups of the country. If you arrive late in the evening, this can be done the next day.

Day 2: Morning yoga, Kathmandu Valley sightseeing, trek preparation, and evening yoga (1,300 meters / 4,264 feet)

Your second day in Kathmandu will start with a relaxing yoga class led by your instructor at your hotel. After breakfast, you will start your Kathmandu Valley tour. On this tour, you will visit the main attractions of the valley such as Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Swyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square (the old palace).

After finishing the city tour, your clothing and trekking equipment (sleeping bag, down jacket, and trekking boots) will be checked. You will have your evening yoga session at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Morning yoga, drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, and evening yoga (820 meters / 2,690 feet)

After your morning yoga and breakfast at the hotel, you will take a tourist bus going to Pokhara at 07:00. This is a scenic drive in Prithvi Highway. The bus will stop for breakfast and lunch at two spots. You will reach Pokhara after seven hours’ drive. You can walk around the lake after having your evening yoga session.

Day 4: Morning yoga, drive to Naya Pul, trek to Tikhedhunga, and evening yoga (1,540 meters / 5,052 feet)

After morning yoga, you will have a short drive to Naya Pul from where you will start trekking. You will have an easy walk towards Birethanti to reach Bhurundi Khola. The trail passes through many countryside villages with great scenery to reach Tikhedhunga where you will spend the night in a lodge. You can either have your yoga session inside the lodge room or outside, wherever you prefer.

Day 5: Morning yoga, trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani, and evening yoga (3,194 meters / 10,479 feet)

After breakfast and morning yoga, you will prepare yourself for a long hike of 3,200 stone steps towards Ulleri. This trail offers an amazing view of landscapes of the valley and Annapurna. What makes you keep going on this trek is the scenery. After reaching Ulleri, you will have a short walk which goes through Rhododendron forest.

Then, you will continue the uphill walk to reach Ghorepani where you will have excellent views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range. You will stay in a lodge this night. You can have your evening yoga session in the cool weather outside in nature or in the lodge room, whereever you prefer.

Day 6: Morning yoga, hike to Poon Hill, trek to Tadapani, and evening yoga (2,590 meters / 8,497 feet)

You will wake up before sunrise and take an hour-long walk up Poon Hill for the sunrise and mountain view. You can have your morning yoga in Poon Hill itself this morning. After observing the view and taking photographs, you will again go back to the lodge at Ghorepani and start trekking to Tadapani after having breakfast. The beginning of the trail is a steep uphill walk to the ridge.

You will take a short break at Deurali. Then, you will go down again through Banthanti. The day comes to an end with a steep climb to Tadapani, located on the top of the ridge. After your evening yoga session, you will stay at a guest house this night.

Day 7: Morning yoga, trek to Ghandruk, and evening yoga (1,940 meters / 6,364 feet)

After morning yoga and breakfast at the accommodation, you will start to walk downhill through the forest to Bhaisekharka and continue towards Ghandruk. You will have your lunch in Ghandruk and after having lunch, you will go around the Ghandruk village to explore the people, culture, and tradition. You will also visit a museum there. This night after your evening yoga you will stay at a lodge.

Day 8: Morning yoga, trek to Naya Pul, drive to Pokhara, and evening yoga (820 meters / 2,690 feet)

This is your last day of trekking. After having your morning yoga, you will have a pleasant walk in the village to reach Modi Khola and Sauli Bazar. You will sign out from ACAP office at Birethanti which is reached after a short walk. You will reach this last steep climb after crossing a bridge. After climbing, you will take a bus to Pokhara. You will have your evening yoga in Pokhara and you will stay overnight in a hotel.

Day 9: Morning yoga, drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, and evening yoga (1,300 meters / 4,264 feet)

At 07:00 in the morning after your yoga session, you'll drive back to Kathmandu along the Prithivi Highway, taking the same route you used to get to Pokhara. The drive is about seven to eight hours. In the afternoon, after arriving in Kathmandu, you will have your evening yoga in the hotel and at night Adventure Mountain Explore Treks & Expedition will host a farewell dinner for you in a Nepalese restaurant. This night you will stay at a hotel.

Day 10: Departure day with morning yoga

This day is the last day of your trip with Adventure Mountain Explore Treks & Expedition. If you would like to extend your holiday, Adventure Mountain Explore Treks & Expedition will help you. Otherwise, they will assist you to the airport as per your flight departure time. This morning, you will be provided your last yoga session at your hotel. If your flight is on the late evening, you can do final shopping or manage your photos of the trip.

The provided meals in this retreat include daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the trek. Outside the trek, the provided meals include daily breakfast in your Kathmandu hotel. In addition, you will also enjoy a welcome dinner and farewell dinner at one of the best Nepalese restaurants with traditional ethnic music and dance.
