About this course

We all have times when we experience stress, along with difficult physical sensations, feelings, and moods. Mindfulness can help you learn new ways of handling stress and all that comes with it.

Mindfulness is simply being aware of the present moment, including our thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations, without judging them or pushing them away. It involves acceptance without believing, for example, there is a right or wrong to think and feel at any given moment.

In the courses, you will become more aware of the unhelpful thought patterns that can trigger and perpetuate stress, anxiety, and low moods. With this awareness comes choice and an improved ability to respond skilfully to life's hurdles.

Practicing mindfulness and meditation can be challenging but also deeply rewarding and life-affirming. You will have a deeper understanding of how you can cultivate the practices into your daily life. No prior experience or knowledge of mindfulness is needed to join the course.

This mindfulness course is held online. Ali Gilling is from the UK and lives on the beautiful island of Ibiza. The sessions will be live-stream via Zoom based on BST (GMT +1) during Summer and GMT for session/s after October 25th, 2020 which you can participate from the comfort of your home by just using your phone or computer.
