In contrast to our physical health that focuses on the health of our body, mental health affects how we think, feel, and act. The level of our mental health significantly impacts how well we handle or cope with stress, relate to others, as well as how we make decisions.
On a Mental Health Retreat, you’ll spend your time either preventing mental ailments or treating specific mental health issues including (but not limited to) depression, addictions, severe burnout. It can also include getaways where you’ll focus on treating your mental health in general.
During these types of courses, you will follow a prevention/ treatment plan or a personalized program tailored for your mental health needs under the guidance and support of mental health professionals.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work to be done, a Mental Health Retreat is often held as a series of private sessions or as a private retreat.
