About the tour

The vast majority of the riding is on roads with low levels of traffic where you will cycle for many miles in spectacular scenery without seeing any vehicles. There will also be sections where traffic may be busy such as on main roads which are used to link up the routes, though are kept to a minimum. AllGood Cycling program includes long rides over hilly terrain.

You must disclose any medical conditions that they need to be aware of before participating in your rides. They also ask for a brief medical history and consent from each participant in case emergency treatment is required during a ride. You must wear an approved safety helmet at all times when riding on your trips. There will be no exceptions to this rule - "no helmet, no ride".

Recommended fitness level

This is suited to cyclists who regularly cycle 60-plus miles or those who do less cycling but have high stamina and aerobic fitness from sports such as running and swimming.

Ride pace

This is not a training camp, the emphasis is on enjoyment and the appreciation of the wonderful landscape and scenery. At a minimum, AllGood Cycling would expect riders to be able to average 12mph over hilly terrain. If you have any doubts about your ability, please send an inquiry for more information.

Groups

Places are strictly limited. You will be riding as part of a group, the maximum group size is 16 people.

Age restrictions

No children under 16 years of age. Children 16-18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Cycle support

An experienced member of the team will ride with you. Plus their van and driver a qualified mechanic will shadow you throughout the day and be on hand to help with any serious mechanical issues. The mechanic will have spares such as chains, cassettes, cables, tires, and brake pads and be on hand to help with bike building on arrival and mechanicals when on the road. Any spares used will need to be paid for by the rider. AllGood Cycling will always have a qualified first aider riding with you at all times.
