Accommodation

Aiora Villas

Aiora Villas will be your home for this 6-day experience. Autonomous villas with modern and minimal aesthetics that cater to all your needs.

The villas are located on the slope of a hill, overlooking the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea, among olive groves, in a 12 acre estate just 100 meters from the most beautiful beach of the island, Alykes.

An open air deck will host all the practices, with full equipment. The brunch and dinner is served in the common terrace area, to connect and socialize together!

Villa

You will be hosted in one of the independent villas, each with its own living room, kitchen and bathroom. All villas have access to the garden and the practice deck.

A Typical Day

A typical day starts with a morning Pilates / yoga session, followed by a rich and healthy Greek style brunch. The rest of the day is free time for relaxation or exploration, optional excursions, and evening yoga / Pilates or meditation sessions. %Expect to embrace the original slow-living, as a typical summer time in Greece, where you let go of the flow. All meals are especially catered for you based on the Greek cuisine with mostly locally sourced ingredients.

Free time

Absolutely! The main focus of the retreat is to relax, re-charge and let go of any tension through various ways; yoga, Pilates , meditation, breathwork, mindful movement, but also through just doing nothing.

There’s plenty of free time to explore the surrounding area and soak up the local vibes. Whether you’re itching to hike through nature, wander through the main village, or simply lounge on the beach, you’ll have time to do just that. It’s all about finding your own balance between zen moments, social connection and adventure.

Do I need to be experienced in yoga / Pilates to attend the Anthology Yoga & Pilates retreat?

Not at all! All practitioners are welcome at the Anthology Yoga & Pilates retreat, from beginners to advanced. It’s more about your willingness to engage with the practice and immerse yourself in the experience. Anthoula and Anthi are experts at making everyone feel welcome and supported! They will offer variations and modifications to accommodate different levels of experience and ability.

Location

Ammouliani, Chalkidiki

Ammouliani is a small secluded island located in Halkidiki, and a1.5-hour drive from Thessaloniki. Its crystal clear waters, sandy beaches and olive trees create the ideal setting to unplug and soak in Greece with all your senses.

Next to Ammouliani, you can find the tiny Drenia islands. They are out-of-this-world, and you can take a boat day-trip there! (optional at additional cost).

Food

Get ready to treat your taste buds. The private chef will prepare delicious, nourishing meals two times per day, a rich brunch and a yummy dinner.

You can expect plenty of fresh fruits and veggies, whole grains, and locally sourced delights like fresh fish, cheese pitas and local desserts. All based on balanced Greek cuisine.

Dietary restrictions? No worries! Just let Anahata Yoga Academy know in advance, and the chef will happily accommodate your needs.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Book your flight to arrive at Thessaloniki Airport "Macedonia" (SKG).

There are frequent direct flights run everyday from main European cities to International Airport of Thessaloniki (SKG).

From the airport, Ammouliani island is a 90-minute drive plus ferry. From the port of Tripiti, you can board the 15-minute ferry to the island.

A shuttle bus pickup from the airport is offered upon request. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or rent a car

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
