During the tour, you will stay at three-star hotels with a downtown location in Rome (three nights), Florence (two nights), and Venice (two nights). The hotels selected will be closed to the train stations, in a safe area and close to the city center.


Day 1 - Rome

Arrival in Rome and transfer to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight will be in Rome.

Day 2 - Rome

This morning you will have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, explore the city at your own leisure or optional tour (suggested locations such as Baroque Rome Squares and Fountains). After lunch, you can join a small group for a tour of ancient Rome and explore with a passionate guide the most extended archaeological area in the world. While walking through the ruins, you will be amazed to discover the great achievements of the Roman Empire in architecture and their perfect organization of public and private life.

With the guided tour of the Colosseum and archaeological area of Rome, you will see the outstanding residences of the Emperors on the Palatine Hill, the Forum, with its Pagan Temples, the site of Julius Caesar's funerals, the Capitol Hill and the Colosseum. This guided tour will last for three hours. Overnight will be in Rome.

Day 3 - Florence

At 8.30 a.m. you will depart by train from Termini Railway station to Florence. You will arrive in Florence at 10.05 a.m. Check-in at a three-star hotel located close to Florence Railway Station and shopping area, at walking distance to the main sites. At 1.45 p.m. there will be an optional excursion to Pisa. A splendid excursion through the Tuscan countryside towards the historic city of Pisa, guided visit of Piazza dei Miracoli to find the celebrated Leaning Tower, the Cathedral (visit inside), the Baptistery and other important monuments. You will return to Florence by 7.00 p.m. Overnight will be in Florence.

Day 4 - Florence

This morning you will have breakfast at the hotel. At 9.00 a.m. you will meet the guide for a town-discovery walk through the enchanting streets and squares of the historical center. Visit the church of Santa Maria Novella, the Duomo Square dominated by the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower, and the Baptistery, with its Renaissance golden "Gate of Paradise".

See Dante's house and Piazza Della Signoria, a splendid "open-air sculpture museum" with Palazzo Vecchio, the City Hall, controlled by the majestic statue of David by Michelangelo. Passing by the Corridoio Vasariano, you will reach Ponte Vecchio, the "Jewellers Bridge", one of the symbols of Florence.

You will then enjoy free time for lunch. You can spend the afternoon at leisure for shopping or optional sightseeing tours (Uffizzi Galley, Chianti area). Overnight will be in Florence.

Day 5 - Venice

This morning you will have a breakfast buffet at the hotel. You will depart by train to Venice on your own. Following the specific indications that are given to you, get to the hotel. You can spend the afternoon at leisure. After free time for lunch, reach the historical center of Venice where you will meet your local guide for an exclusive guided tour of the Cathedral of San Marco, the Doges Palace and Bridge of Sighs. Overnight will be in Venice.

Day 6 - Venice

This morning you will have breakfast at the hotel. You get to spend the entire day in Venice. You can enjoy it by visiting the island of Murano by boat, where you can discover the glass factory, Burano and Torcello (optional tour). As an alternative, you could join a gondola ride or continue visiting the city of Venice with its museums, churches and ever so quiet neighborhoods. And in case you wish to visit Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet, or Padua with the famous Cathedral of San Antonio and the "Gattamelata" by Donatello, Argiletum Tour Operator can organize an excursion for you. Overnight will be in Venice.

Day 7 - Venice

This morning you will have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will reach the Santa Lucia Station and depart for Rome. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy the free afternoon, you may join optional tours of Rome or go shopping. Overnight will be in Rome.

Day 8 - Rome

This morning you will have breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and departure.
