Nights 1 and 7: Hotel Athinais 3-star (or similar), Athens.

Located in the heart of Athens, just a 5-minute walk from the Metro. Museums, shops, and entertainment options are all within a 15-minute walk. The National Gallery is 1 km from the hotel. Plaka and the Acropolis are 3 km away and easily accessible by Metro.

Nights 2 to 4: Hotel Dave by the Beach 3-star (or similar), Loutraki.

Dave by the Beach Loutraki is a modern boutique hotel located in the heart of Loutraki, a coastal town approximately an hour's drive from Athens. Situated just 200 meters from the beach, the hotel offers guests easy access to the sea and local attractions.

Night 5: Hotel Kera Neme 3-star (or similar), Nemea.

Night 6: Hotel Park 3-star (or similar), Nafplion.

Program

Day 1: Arrival in Athens

  • Check in your hotel.
  • Take free time to explore Greece's vibrant capital at your leisure.
  • Meet with your tour leader in the afternoon for welcome drinks, a bike fitting, and a short ride around the city center of Athens.

Day 2: Athens to Sounion (27 km)

  • Take a private transfer to Anavyssos, where we will start our scenic electric bike ride to Cape Sounio.
  • Cycle through the ancient mines, the Chaos Incuse and the National Park of Sounio & visit the Temple of Poseidon and enjoy the breathtaking views over the Aegean Sea.
  • Get some free time to swim in the crystal clear waters and enjoy a lunch.
  • Take a private transfer to the seaside town of Loutraki, renowned for its therapeutic thermal springs, pristine beaches, and rich history.
  • Enjoy Loutraki by night!

Day 3: Loutraki to Perachora (45 km)

  • Start cycling from Loutraki heading towards Perachora.
  • Visit the scenic Lake Vouliagmeni, famous for its mythological connection to nymphs and the Heraion, an ancient temple dedicated to Hera, the queen of the gods. The site offers a fascinating glimpse into ancient worship practices and its historical ties to the city-state of Corinth.
  • Unwind at a nearby beach, soaking in the stunning coastal views and then return back to Loutraki.

Day 4: Loutraki to Ancient Corinth (46 km)

  • Set off by electric bike for the historic Ancient Corinth.
  • Explore the well-preserved ruins, including the Temple of Apollo, and learn about the city's fascinating history and connection to figures like Paul the Apostle.
  • Cycle up to Acrocorinth, the towering fortress that overlooks the ancient city & return back to Loutraki for the rest of the day.

Day 5: Ancient Corinth to Nemea (23 km)

  • Start your day by taking a 30-minute private transfer to Nemea.
  • Hop-on your e-bikes and cycle through the picturesque countryside, heading toward the Nemea Archaeological Site and explore the ancient ruins, including the Temple of Zeus.
  • Visit the Aidonia Waterfalls, a place of wild beauty!
  • Enjoy a wine tasting at a local winery, where we’ll sample some of the region’s finest wines, including the famous Agiorgitiko.
  • Embrace the evening in Nemea.

Day 6: Nemea to Mycenae & Nafplion (65 km)

  • Ride with your electric bike from Nemea to Mycenae Archaeological Site
  • Visit the iconic Lion Gate and the tomb of Agamemnon to get a glimpse in the Bronze Age in Greece.
  • Cycle by rows of fragrant orange trees, which are famous in the region, before reaching Nafplio, a charming coastal town known for its Venetian architecture and breathtaking views.
  • Enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Nafplion!

Day 7: Nafplion Palamidi Hike and Arvanitia Beach

  • Explore the beautiful town of Nafplio, first historic capital of Greece.
  • Hike to the Palamidi Fortress and its’ legendary 999 steps and swim in the famous Arvanitia Beach.
  • Enjoy a delicious lunch, a special treat from our company, at a traditional local tavern before continuing our bus ride back to Athens for the last night of your trip.

Day 8: Athens

  • Spent your last day in Athens for leisure & shopping! Farewell, cyclists, and until next time! We hope that you enjoyed the ride!

Explore the rich history and mythology of Greece on our guided bike tour, designed for history enthusiasts who want to immerse themselves in the ancient past while enjoying the beauty of modern Greece.

The tour begins with a bike ride to the Temple of Poseidon in Sounion, cycling through the National Park of Sounio and passing the ancient silver mines of Lavrion. In Perachora, you’ll explore the Temple of Hera and the beautiful Lake Vouliagmeni, a serene natural spot surrounded by lush scenery.

The journey continues with a visit to Ancient Corinth, to visit the Temple of Apollo and where you’ll learn about Saint Paul’s time here and explore the impressive Acrocorinth. Then, in Nemea, you’ll hear the myth of the Nemean Lion, a legendary creature defeated by Heracles as one of his twelve labors and we will visit the Temple of Zeus. Nemea is also known for its rich winemaking heritage, where you’ll have the chance to taste local wines and learn about the ancient tradition of winemaking in the region.

After Nemea, we will head to Mycenae, an ancient archaeological site, known for its iconic Lion Gate and the tomb of Agamemnon, offering a glimpse into Greece's Bronze Age. Finally, we will reach Nafplio, a charming coastal town, famous for its Venetian architecture, the impressive Palamidi Fortress, and its beautiful seafront promenade.

This tour offers a perfect blend of history, culture, nature, and wine, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Greece's past and present.
