Day 1: Arrival in Kayserberg, in southern Alsace
Arrival at Kayserberg based on your own schedule. For the length of your visit, you are able to leave your car at the first hotel. If arriving by train, a transfer from Colmar station can be provided. Welcome to Kaysersberg, a historic town. Kaysersberg, dominated by an ancient imperial castle, has a gorgeous cobblestone street with half-timbered houses and charming historical monuments, making for an enchanting scene. The town is well-known for being the birthplace of 1952 Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. Albert Schweitzer. Accommodations at the Kaysersberg Hotel.
Day 2: Walk to Lapoutroie through the Toggenbach forest

After a filling breakfast at the hotel, pack a picnic lunch and take a leisurely stroll around Kaysersberg's vineyards. Before arriving at the chapel of Saint Alexis, where rumors have it that young girls would come to ring the bell and walk around it three times to get married within a year, you will follow a breathtaking wooded valley and pass through a magnificent forest.
You will soon arrive at the "green canton," so called because of its forests, hills, and rolling meadows. The picturesque village of Lapoutroie, known for its delicious brandies and world-famous Munster cheese, is where your adventure comes to an end. Supper and lodging in Lapoutroie.
Day 3: Ascend the Brézouard massif and walk to Le Bonhomme

Hotel breakfast. Bring a picnic lunch and start your tour by climbing the 1229-meter-high Brezouard Massif, which marks the northern edge of the Vosges mountain range. Admire breathtaking sweeping views over the Alsace plain and the entire range from the peak. Your journey ends in the charming mountain town of Le Bonhomme as you proceed toward the Bagenelles. Dinner at Le Bonhomme and lodging there.
Day 4: Hike to Orbey via beautiful lakes and viewpoints

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, take a picnic lunch to the gorgeous Devin Pond, which is surrounded by protected flowers and rare plants. Proceeding, you will reach Tête Des Faux, so called because of the beech forest that formerly covered it, where you will come across First World War relics. See the breathtaking Lac Blanc, a lake that is 1050 meters above sea level. At the base of the Vosges, in the village of Orbey, which is renowned for its picturesque streams, the day's hike comes to an end. Dinner and lodging at Orbey.
Day 5: Hike to Labaroche through the Vosges mountains

Have breakfast at the hotel before setting out on a brand-new journey. Before you set out to explore the enigmatic Trembling Stone, a monument connected to the ancient Druid worship, don't forget to take a picnic lunch. From there, ascend to the remains of the 11th-century Hohnack Castle, which was formerly the most magnificent in Alsace and the highest point in the Vosges Mountains at a height of 940 meters. You will reach Labaroche, a quaint and picturesque mountain community, after a full day of hiking. Enjoy a delectable meal and an overnight stay in Labaroche to cap off the day.
Day 6: Hike to Niedermorschwihr through the vineyards

Breakfast at the hotel. Start at the Trois Epis, a well-liked pilgrimage site since the 15th century that provides breathtaking views of the Alsace plain, with a picnic lunch. The typical Alsatian village of Turckheim, which is renowned for its rich historical core, will be your route back to the vineyards. Walk to Niedermorschwirh (also called "Morswilre"), a quaint small wine village tucked away amid the vines since 1148, to finish your journey. The village's 12th-century church bell tower, with its twisted roof, is a unique architectural wonder. Quarters in Niedermorschwihr.
Day 7: End of the hiking tour
Hotel breakfast. This is where your hiking adventure ends. We will arrange for a transfer to get you back to your car in Kaysersberg or to the closest train station.

Average - Hiking route selection is suitable for people in good physical condition. Every stage requires walking for four to six hours a day, or between twelve and twenty kilometers of hiking with an elevation gain of five to eight hundred meters. It is possible to be transported by automobile with luggage to the next step in the event of bad weather or physical challenges.
