This online retreat is your opportunity to combine Yin yoga practice with the 5 Element Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Enjoy focusing on one element each day (Water, Fire, Liver, Earth, Metal), including Yin yoga practice with affirmation, guided meditation, journaling, and 5 Element Theory lesson including food therapy. Every morning you will practice guided meditation based on the emotion of the element and every evening you will focus practice Yin yoga based on the Meridians of the element.

How the retreat works

During this online retreat, you will focus on the 5 Element Theory based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Every day, you will focus on one element with guided meditation and Yin yoga practice with affirmations. Additionally, you will get information about each element, its characteristics, emotions, and food therapy.

  • 5 mornings, 45 minutes of guided meditation based on element + journaling
  • 5 evenings, 2 hours 5 Element Theory lesson including food therapy and Yin yoga practice with affirmations

  • Day 1: Introduction of instructor and program / Water Element - Winter Season - guided meditation for fear / Yin Yoga for kidney and bladder meridians
  • Day 2: Fire Element - Summer Season - guided heart meditation / Yin yoga for heart and small intestine meridians
  • Day 3: Wood Element: Spring Season - guided meditation for anger / Yin yoga for liver and gallbladder meridians
  • Day 4: Metal Element - Autumn Season - guided meditation for self - Compassion / Yin yoga for lungs and large intestıne meridians
  • Day 5: Earth Element: Late Summer - guided meditation for letting go / Yin yoga for spleen and stomach meridians + closing with Q&A and feedaback

This course is held online. Aylin Genc is based in Warsaw, Poland (CET, UTC +1 / CEST, UTC +2) and they will live-stream the classes via Google Meet which you can participate from the comfort of your home by just using your phone or computer.
