For this retreat, you will be staying in Ayuryoga Academy. Ayuryoga Academy is set in an area of about two acres of coconut land sandwiched between the Arabian Ocean and Kavvayi backwater coconut trees, on the Valiyaparamba beach, Kasargod, Kerala. It offers you diverse vistas of the Arabian Sea, facing the incredibly beautiful beach, where one could swim, sunbathe, or just lounge around.

There will be 24 hours hot water facility for bathing and drinking, and Wi-Fi access in the reception area. From time to time, there will also be room service. Guests/students are accommodated in two apartments, a beachfront house, and an east-side house. The beachfront house is just 30 meters away from the beach having two spacious bedrooms downstairs and three spacious bedrooms upstairs. Both floors have separate living rooms and veranda. The upstairs rooms have sliding glass windows which make for a clear view of the ocean and surroundings.

The east side apartment has three bedrooms downstairs which is 40 meters away from the beach and 90 meters from the backwater. All the rooms have attached bathrooms and 24 hours hot water facility. Air conditioning is not included in the package but can be provided in the downstairs rooms for an extra charge of 8 EUR per day.

Prajith started to practice Hatha yoga when he was 15 years old and attended his first yoga retreat when he was 20. He studied Electronics Engineering and worked as Service Engineer until 2007. In between, he continued his yoga studies including Sidha Samadhi Yoga, Art of Living, Sivananda Ashram in Trivandrum, and Vivekananda Kendra in Kanyakumari just to name a few. From 2009 onwards, he completely dedicated his life to yoga with intense practice and was fortunate to travel and reside in many yoga ashrams in India.

Dr. Hima Priya

Dr Hima Priya graduated in BAMS (Batchelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery) in 2013 and specialised in Ayurveda cosmetology. She is a passionate lover of Ayurveda and she makes a point that each patient gets the highest standard of care. Since the last 8 years, she worked with many hospitals in Kerala and she joined with Ayuryoga Academy in 2019. Her diagnosis and observation skill and decision making power was highly appreciated by the Western patients and guests.

Ayuryoga Academy is situated in Valiyapramba which is an island with beaches and backwater. Guests will always have the opportunity to explore the village life and to visit the nearby town which is just 4 km away from the center. There are many tourist attractions like local temples Bakel fort, snake park, spiritual ashrams, and many other spots in Kasaragod and Kannur.

This 14-day package includes many Ayurveda / panchakarma treatments and therapies which will be designed by the physician by considering your constitution and health conditions. Every guest will get three different types of therapies in a day.
