He started practicing Traditional Balinese Watukaru yoga, chakra opening, and healing meditation at the age of 17. He specializes in the Watukaru yoga tradition, Balinese traditional meditation, and the snake style of martial arts (pencak silat). He is committed to conserving the ancient Balinese yoga tradition, meditation, and silat. He is a self-taught artist and architect who has created many stunning Balinese culture and yoga-themed artworks and architecture.
Krishna is a traditional Balinese Watukaru yoga and meditation teacher. She has been studying and teaching Balinese yoga, meditation, pranayama, and chakra opening for the past 10 years. Her hands-on approach, passion for teaching, and loving smiles are heart-warming and will certainly help you deepen your yoga and meditation practices. She is also the kindest, most fun, and passionate teacher and friend you'll ever meet!
From a rice farmer and a wife who worked over twelve hours in the rice paddies every single day in addition to taking care of a family of six, Dewi transformed her life by studying English and the practice of yoga. Now, she not only manages Balitrees but teaches traditional Balinese Watukaru yoga to both Western guests and women and children from her local community. She believes yoga is a way of life that can lead us to find more peace and joy from within ourselves. When in a class, she teaches with her heart and soul, giving all of her love, warmth, and authenticity to her students.
Claudia is a mathematician and statistician turned full-time yogi. She’s certified in both Yin yoga and yoga therapy while studying extensively Chinese traditional medicine and acupuncture. Her passion for understanding the intricacies of the human body especially its self-healing power guided her to discover a unique approach of teaching—she helps students to deepen and expand their practices through activating specific acupressure points in the body. She believes there’s infinite power held in our body, and we just need to learn to use the right key to unleash it.
Danai is a psychotherapist, yoga, and meditation instructor from Greece. In search of a more peaceful mind, she traveled across Europe into the majestic landscapes of Finland, where she discovered her true passion—fluid body movements through yoga and dancing. Combining her psychology background with her certification in Vinyasa yoga and guided meditation, she guides people through their individual paths of self-acceptance, transformation, overcoming of past trauma, and better communication with their subconscious mind and inner voice.
Landy is a certified Vinyasa and meditation teacher. She has a natural gift of listening in order to understand people on a deeper level and applies effortlessly her understanding and empathy to her teaching or as she prefers to call it, guided self-healing through meditation, pranayama, yoga, and yoga therapy. She integrates her love for poetry, art, and oriental philosophy and medicine into her teaching and has been a part of many people's positive self-transformation and journeys to happier and more fulfilling lives.
Bali Green Retreat is located in a spiritual Hindu village called Sesandan in Megati district, Tabanan Regency, Bali, Indonesia. Should you like food during your juice detox, don't hesitate to ask!
