Pool suites

Introducing the ultimate island escape: Bloomfield’s Pool Suites. Overlooking the rice terraces and infinity pool, is a ridiculously spacious and light-filled room and Bloomfield’s best of the best. Complete with polished concrete floors and beautiful rugs, high thatched ceilings and a four-poster canopy king bed with mosquito nets, en-suite with double showers, fans, beds decked out with the softest white linen and the plushest of pillows and throws. Both pool suites offer a TV with DVD player, satellite channels, bar fridge and all those other locally made essential amenities.

Note: Whilst both pool suites plate up fresh and modern en-suites, only one boasts a deep, freestanding bath, positioned so that it claims the room’s best outdoor views…Now, if fragrant, luxurious baths are your calling - they take email requests.

Deluxe pool room

Bloomfield’s Pool Room’s are the slightly smaller - but equally fabulous - sisters of the Pool Suite. Boasting spectacular pool and rice terrace views and endowed with a beautiful airy design and high thatched ceilings. All suites have mosquito nets, beds decked out with the softest white linen and the plushest of pillows and throws, fans, en-suite, a TV with DVD player, satellite channels, bar fridge and locally made amenities. Additionally, the king bed can also be arranged as twin singles - whatever tickles your fancy.

Pool rooms

Bloomfield’s smallest yet stylish accommodation; the Pool Room lacks nothing but a little size. Flaunting some of the best views in the hotel, wake up to the sun rising over the rice terraces and infinity pool - how much better can it get? White painted / coconut floors, split king beds (ideal for sharing) decked out in gorgeous linen, throws and cushions, en-suite and all those funky locally sourced amenities and includes TV, satellite channels, a bar fridge, air-con and so on… The pool room offers some of the best views, without breaking the bank.

Palm room

The Palm Rooms are located in the quietest corner of the hotel away from the pool with a more relaxed groovy theme, handcrafted furniture, polished concrete floors and beautiful throws and cushions. There are ground floor and first floor rooms that are lovely and spacious with en-suite bathrooms, lovely comfy king size beds decked out with the softest white linen and the plushest of pillows and throws, that can also be split into twin beds on command! They all boast TV’s, satellite channels, bar fridge, aircon and locally sourced amenities.

Bamboo room

The beautiful bamboo rooms are tucked away in the most perfectly secluded ground floor nooks of the hotel - one among the tropical gardens, with the other stepping onto the infinity pool. Boasting the signature Bloomfield flair, these spacious rooms are fit with beds for kings (being king beds, if you’re a bit slow to cotton on), gorgeous handcrafted bamboo furniture and an en-suite. Not to mention all the essentials - TV with satellite channels, bar fridge, ceiling fan and air-con, of course!

You will enjoy guided meditation on a daily basis, 3 yoga classes and you will have two activities included as well. You can choose between: volcano climb, sightseeing tour of Bali, rice field trekking, white water rafting, or cooking class with Chef Putu.

You don’t have to be an uber-spiritual vegan yogi to enjoy the benefits of the meditation class in the open air bamboo studio. They have one Bale located in the rice fields in front of the hotel and a larger pavilion within the hotel, then again mediation can be done in the comfort of your own room.

A yoga practice can bring real positive change, enhancing you everyday life on and off the yoga mat. Derived from the Sankrit word “yuj” which means “to unite or integrate”; yoga is a 5000 year old Indian body of knowledge. Yoga is all about harmonizing the body with the mind and breath through the means of various breathing techniques, yoga postures (asanas) and meditation.

Note: All classes are taught by experienced fully certified yoga instructors.

Bloomfield’s eco-friendly design boasts several beautiful handcrafted bamboo structure’s with many lounge, living and dining spaces, which flow from indoor to outdoor.

They have a no kids under 14 years policy, unless the entire resort is booked.

Dinning at Bloomfield

Their “locavore” philosophy means that breakfast, lunch, and dinner are made from scratch, on site, with ingredients sourced from local artisan suppliers and their own organic gardens.

Seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh juices, house baked seed breads, organic eggs, puddings, smoothie bowls, buckwheat pancakes, granola and nut-milk make up your every changing and delicious breakfast spread.

Lunch and dinner menus change with the seasons but are always filled with tasty, fresh and innovative modern offerings. Expect dishes such as spicy prawn laab served in lettuce cups with toasted rice and nuoc cham dressing or raw nori bowl with matcha tea noodles, sesame tofu, edamame, asparagus, avocado pickle and soy miring dressing. Shared banquets of BBQ turmeric crusted fish, Moroccan chicken and seafood served with vibrant salads are on offer every evening.

The team also provides super tasty menus which can be tailored around your holiday objectives - be it cleansing, weight loss, or better health. Better yet, take some recipes home by joining in one of the cooking demonstrations - the chefs will teach you how to best use all those funky super foods that no one can seem to pronounce (it’s As-sigh-e in case you were wondering).

And after all that goodness there is a health inspired, low calorie cocktail (they’re not here to judge!) or mocktail waiting for you by the pool.

The chef

Chef Fanni Robial, describes the Bloomfield menu as globally inspired, nutritious and super tasty. Produce is sourced from local artisan suppliers across Bali. For the menu Fanni draws inspiration from his rich Balinese heritage and international experiences interpreted with his passion for healthy eating and nutrition.

Expect to see: cauliflower crust pizza with kemangi pesto, pumpkin, spinach, feta and mixed seeds or make Vietnamese inspired rice paper rolls with sesame tofu, black rice, beetroot leaf and a sesame dressing.

Reiki, pronounced ‘ray-key’, is a Japanese form of therapy that aims to increase energy levels and promote relaxation and well-being. Developed in the late 19th century, Reiki is applied through non-invasive, non-manipulative gentle touch.

The underlying philosophy of Reiki is that if a person’s energy is low, they are more likely to be unwell or stressed. If it is high, however, they are more capable of being happy and feeling well. Reiki will not cure illnesses or disease, but it may help your body to feel more relaxed and peaceful.

The Reiki facilitator is available with a booking one week in advance.

Note: Their Reiki instructor is fully certified.
