You will be accommodated in independent and comfortable 4-star apartments during the holiday. Composed of 7 fully furnished apartments, a large garden with a barbecue area, a pool and a private parking lot, Borgo Pianello is the ideal place for a holiday in close contact with nature, far from the frantic pace of city life.

Your maximum comfort in the farmhouse apartments is ensured with all furnishings chosen with care. Every unit has a fully-equipped kitchen and fireplace, satellite TV/radio and internet connection so that guests can enjoy their stay in harmony with nature. The charming meeting room, located in the refurbished barn, can accommodate training courses, seminars, exhibitions and events of any kind. Equipped with a kitchen, giant screen and restrooms, it can accommodate 60 people.

The farmhouse offers ample private parking and a 10.000 square-meter lawn, a barbecue area, a children's playground, an organic garden, and a swimming pool. A solarium completes the facilities at the guests' disposal. The farm is immersed in the natural surroundings including the vegetation and fauna of the Corno alle Scale regional park where it is not uncommon to spot deer, squirrels, wild boars, foxes, hawks and other animals of the valley.

Day 1: Saturday

Arrival and check-in after 3:00 p.m. Welcome Bag + treat yourself to a glass of wine while enjoying the magical sunsets of the village.

Day 2: Sunday

Sunday lunch at Borgo Pianello. Let's get to know each other better while savoring our cuisine

Day 3: Monday

Dedicated course to the tradition of Bolognese cuisine (breakfast, cooking class, aperitif, lunch, and wine tasting).

Day 4: Tuesday

Dedicated course to the cuisine of Central and Southern Italy – Taste of Italy (breakfast, cooking class, aperitif, lunch, and tasting).

Day 5: Wednesday

Dedicated course to the great classics, pizza, and tiramisu (breakfast, cooking lesson, aperitif, lunch, and wine tasting).

Day 6: Thursday

Free day, time to go on excursions or visit a beautiful city.

Day 7: Friday

In the morning, visit to the Parmigiano Reggiano factory and lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 8: Saturday

Check-out at 10:00 a.m. and departure.

Just over an hour away from Bologna, Florence and Modena is Borgo Pianello, a country resort in the pristine natural setting of the Apennines, the mountain chain straddling the border between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. Painstaking restoration work has preserved the warm, cozy atmosphere of an ancient country village. Tradition, sustainability and slow rhythms are the keys to life in the village… in close contact with nature at all times.

Surroundings

Borgo Pianello is located in the Appenines that divide Tuscany from Emilia Romagna, just over an hour away from Florence, Bologna and Modena. In Rocca Corneta, the locality where the village is located, 7 organic farmers have recently made the area into an oasis of organic farming. The facility borgo is located close to two skiing areas: only 20 minutes away from Corno alle Scale and Monte Cimone, for an active holiday at any time of year, on foot, by e-bike, or on skis!
