Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
On arrival at Delhi International Airport (DEL), you will meet and greet with a Brahmand Tour representative and transfer to your hotel. Free time for personal activities. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 2: Delhi - Dharamshala by flight at Gaggal Airport (DHM) - Palampur (40 kilometers | 1.05 hours approximately)
In-time transfer to the Delhi Airport (DEL) to board the flight for Dharamshala, on arrival at Dharamshala Airport (DHM), you will meet and transfer to the hotel. After refreshments, it’s time to gather at the hotel lobby to do a brief introduction about the upcoming epic adventurous journey.
After briefing you will be taken to the motorbike station to pick up the motorbike, then you will enjoy the test ride. Evening is free for leisure to personal activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Palampur - Jibhi (160 kilometers | 5 - 6 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Banjar Valley - Jibhi, via Kandi Katola National Park. On arrival, check into the hotel. Free time at leisure to relax. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Jibhi - Sarahan (Approximately 160 kilometers | 6 - 7 hours)
Morning ride to Sarahan (known as Baspa Valley), which is the most holy place in Baspa Valley. On arrival, check into the hotel. After refreshments, walk in the village where you will see old Himachali traditional houses. In the evening, witness the Aarti ceremony at Bhimakali temple. Overnight stay at Sarahan.
Day 5: Sarahan - Sangla - Chitkul - Kalpa (Approximately 90 kilometers | 3 - 4 hours)
Travel from Sarahan to Kalpa, and also, visit Sangla Valley and the last village of India, Chitkul. After the visit, start riding to Kalpa, it's a small town located next to the district town Rikongpio of Kinnur Valley. Free time at leisure to relax. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 6: Kalpa - Nako - Tabo (Approximately 150 kilometers | 5 - 6 hours)
Morning post breakfast proceed to the administration office to obtain a special permit to enter the restricted zone of Spiti Valley. During the process of permission in Rikongpio. Then ride to Tabo en route visiting the confluence of Satluj and Spiti Rivers at Khab, and proceed to Tabo taking a stop at Gyu Village, known as the mummy of Monk (approximately 500 years old).
On arrival, check-in, and after refreshments, have an evening visit to the magnificent Tabo Gompa which is the one of highlights of Spiti monasteries. This monastery was founded in 996 AD by the great teacher Richensang-po, Tabo is renowned for its breathtaking murals and stucco images, and is often called “The Ajanta of the Himalayas”.
The largest monastic complex in Spiti, the old section has 9 temples, 23 chortens, a monk’s chamber, and a nun’s chamber. There are several caves adorned with frescoes and contemporary structures too. In Trans Himalayan Buddhism, Tabo’s sanctity is next only to Tibet’s Tholing gompa. Overnight stay at Tabo. Please note: that today, you will get a permit at Recongeo for the restricted area.
Day 7: Tabo - Dhankar Monastery - Komic Village - Hikkim - Langza - Kaza (Approximately 110 kilometers | 5 – 6 hour)
After breakfast, ride towards Kaza while stopping to admire the serenity of village life at the Shichling and Chhorden villages. Interestingly, these scenic villages are situated on the banks of a peaceful river. The next stop is at Dhankar, an unexplored village of Spiti Valley. Visit the world’s highest village, Komic (4587 meters), and the world’s highest post office, Hikkim and Lanza village. After the visit, continue your ride to Kaza (the major town of Spiti Valley). Overnight stay at Kaza.
Day 8: Kaza - Key Monastery - Manali (183 kilometers | 6 - 7 hours)
Today, your machine will have a challenging day with crossing rough patches or no road till Gramphu, en route, visit Ki monastery (the Highlight of Spiti Valley). After the visit continue the ride.
This is a dirt road experience but very scenic providing views of Bara Shigri Glacier and CB ranges, moreover, cross the highest motorable pass of Spiti Valley (Kunzum Pass (4558 meters), which is exquisite beauty between a lower ridge and the main Kunzum range. Then continue the ride to Manali via Atal Tunnel (9.02 kilometers long). On arrival, check into the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9: Manali - Palampur (Approximately 240 kilometers | 7 hours)
Today you will ride from Manali to Palampur, famous for the Tea Garden. Today is the last day of riding. On arrival, check into the hotel. Farewell dinner with tour members. Overnight stay at Palampur.
Day 10: Palampur - Dharamshala Airport (DHM) by flight - Departure
After breakfast, you will transfer to Dharamshala Airport (DHM) to board Delhi and then connect flights for your onward destination.
