You will stay in a medieval country house, whose origins date back almost 1000 years. The retreat center was recently renovated with completely modern amenities, mostly using recycled materials for the interior: a pleasant mix between the old and the new, combining the solidity and durability of the past with the comforts of today. All rooms are comfortable and each has a bathroom with shower and toilet. Can Mussol offers a variety of rooms to meet your needs.
The retreat center offers different areas of the house that you can enjoy; a living room with a library in a fireplace, a dining room, Wi-Fi available, or you can relax in a cozy but spacious rest area with a good book. The retreat center also offers a place as a bed and breakfast accommodation for people who wish to stay longer.
Inside the center street shoes, rubber clogs or beach sandals are not used, you can only walk barefoot, with overshoes or socks (in winter the use of thick socks or thick overshoes is recommended).
Can Mussol is a space for adults only (over 14 years) and pets are not allowed. In the farmhouse, some cats can sometimes walk inside the center.

Location
The retreat takes place in a historical country house located in the middle of nature. It is about one hour traveling from the charming Barcelona, Spain and 30 minutes of traveling by car from beautiful and inspirational Montserrat Mountain. The house is surrounded by vineyards and graceful grazing lands, with the astonishing mountains on the horizon. Full of herbs, almond trees, and some cows. Enjoy the rural atmosphere, relax in nature and recharge your batteries!

Food preparation is based on zero waste concept where all products are reused and become resources for others to use. Vegetarian, gluten free, nuts free, and sugar free menus are available.

Arrival by car
Located in the province of Barcelona and very close to the Montserrat Mountain. Specifically, in the middle of the vineyards of Canet de Fals in Fonollosa. 10 minutes from Sant Joan de Vilatorrada and 20 from Manresa.
Take the road to Manresa (either the C16 or the C58 and C55 to avoid tolls). When you are in Manresa, follow the C-25 towards Manresa / Solsona / Lleida. After a few kilometers, take the exit towards St. Joan de Villatorrada and after approximately one kilometer turn left towards Fonollosa.
Follow the road, go straight through the roundabout and continue on the BV3008 until the first exit on the right after the kilometric sign 7. Follow that road until the end, with the last part a dirt road that leads directly to the Jaumeandreu (original name of the house).
Arrival by bus
From Manresa Alta (arrival at FCG), there is a bus called Sagalés that goes to Canet de Fals (retreat center). It is recommended to confirm schedules on their website. From FCG station from Manresa Alta to Canet de Fals, there is a 10-minute walk from the bus stop on the road that crosses the vineyards.
Arrival by train
From Ferrocarils generalitat (FCG), take an R5 train from the Barcelona train station in Plaça Espanya to Manresa Alta. Once there, you can reach the center by bus (Sagalés Bus) or taxi, from the same station.
In Renfe, you can take the Line R4 stop station Manresa. From there, you have to take a taxi to the center (15 minutes)
