Come and join this incredible cycling tour for all cyclists in India, exploring Rajasthan and its beautiful surroundings.
You will stay in good hotels, resorts, and luxury camps in double rooms.
You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your hotel near the airport. Depending on when you arrive, a small tour of Delhi can be arranged. Overnight stay in hotel and dinner.
Around 1:00 p.m., you take the domestic flight to Udaipur. Udaipur is considered the most romantic city in India and was a significant royal city. It is surrounded by green hills and is located on three artificial lakes that give the city a pleasant climate. After arrival in Udaipur and transfer to your hotel, you use the afternoon for a short exploration tour of Udaipur with a visit to the Jagdish Temple. You end the evening on a beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking Fathesagar Lake. Overnight stay in hotel.
You will meet your English-speaking tour guide for your bike tour and will visit the lively market and city palace with him and take a boat tour on Fathesagar Lake. You discover “The City of Lakes” on a half-day tour by bike. Kumbhalgarh was the former hautstadt of the Mewar Empire. You will visit the castle, which has never been conquered. Today you cycle to the region “Godwad”, which has an incomparable landscape: the large reservoir Jawai is surrounded by rocky mountains and solid stone caves with dry vegetation - the perfect environment for leopards. During your tour, you stop in the famous Ranakpur to visit the famous Jain temples. From here, you take the transfer (it can also be straightened a little further) to your luxurious camp in the middle of nature. Today you will reach another important destination: the blue city of Jodhpur. Jodhpur was once the capital of the Marwar region and has a colorful culture and impressive sights. You start your bike tour directly from the camp. The landscape will change drastically and soon you will be cycling through the vast and flat desert. You start your tour through the yellow mustard and hop fields early. With a little attention, you can spot game, camels, and the famous “blue cows”. An easy tour that allows you to enjoy the surroundings. After lunch in an old fortress, you have a transfer of about 120 kilometers ahead. Overnight stay in hotel.
Today is used to explore Jodhpur. On a city walk, you visit the mighty Mehrangarh Fort and wander through the narrow streets to the famous marketplace at the clock tower. There is a lot of hustle and bustle, shopping, and the best lassi and samosa in Jodhpur. Both are popular snacks in Rajasthan. The afternoon continues with a culinary experience. You will attend an Indian cooking class and immerse yourself in the world of Indian spices. Overnight stay in hotel.
Today, you will cycle to the small village of Chandelao and have lunch in the local fort. During today’s tour, you will have the full desert experience. In the afternoon, you will take a transfer for 175 kilometers to the small holy town of Pushkar. You explore the sacred Pushkar Lake and the special Brahma Temple. Overnight stay in hotel.
On small roads, you pass through the beautiful Rajasthani countryside with cultivated green fields shining in the dry thorny landscape. After reaching Rupangarh, you will continue by vehicle to the capital of Jaipur. On the way, you can stop at a block printing factory. Rajasthan is famous for hand-block printing with natural colors. An experience on the bike in a very special way: Early in the morning, you join a guided bicycle sightseeing tour of Jaipur. On this tour, you get to know not only the main sights of the pink city but also areas where no other tourist comes. Afterward, you can see the City Palace, the Amber Fort, and the Observatory Jantar Mantar. Jaipur is a planned city and was built in the 18th century. Pink is the color of hospitality. The entire old town was painted in this color as a welcome for the crown prince - hence the name Pink City. Overnight stay in hotel.
You continue through small tranquil villages, first by bike towards Lalsot, then by transfer to Ranthambore. The national park is world-famous for its tigers. Overnight stay at the resort.
Today, you will go on two safaris. Early in the morning, you start with the jeeps into the national park, and with some luck, you spot free-living tigers. Bears, deer, and crocodiles can also be spotted. After an extensive breakfast and some rest at the resort, you will go on a second jeep safari in the afternoon. During the day, you can visit the ruins of the Ranthambore Fort in the park in the form of a short walk. There are some stairs to climb. Once at the top, you not only have a good panoramic view of the park but there is also a Ganesha temple and plenty of cheeky monkeys. Overnight stay at the resort.
Today, you will take the train to Agra. Traveling by train is simply part of traveling through India. In the afternoon, you reach Agra and enjoy your dinner with a view of the Taj Mahal. Overnight stay in hotel.
Today, you will visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a symbol of love. The journey continues by car to Delhi. Overnight stay in hotel.
With pleasure, you can arrange a stay in Goa at the beach. Otherwise, the day is at leisure until departure. Various activities in Delhi can be organized additionally. The trip ends with a transfer to the airport.
