The accommodation on this two-day one-night tour are tents set at the best high viewing point in a country park site, overlooking Chiang Rai.

Program

Day 1 (60 - 100 kilometers / 37 - 62 miles)

The mileage for this day will be between 60 to 100 kilometers while taking in jungle trails, creek crossings, mountain roads, villages, and the local history. You will be camping out in tents with a mountaintop view over Chiang Rai while roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over a camp fire.

Day 2 (60 kilometers / 37 miles)

Mileage on day two would be about 60 kilometers while taking in jungle trails, pineapple fields with kayaking, and a visit to a local hot spring to finish the day.

Location

This tour will take you around the area around Mae Yao and the village of Huay Khom in Northern Thailand.

Food

All meals are included for overnight tours. The meals are local food with hot dogs and marshmallows at your camp fire.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Chiang Rai International Airport (CEI). It is easy to catch a cab from the airport and the best way is to hire at the taxi counter. If needed, Chiang Rai Big Bike can provide pickup and drop off to a local hotel for a fee of 500 THB. Chiang Rai Big Bike strongly recommends not using a tuk tuk.
