You will enjoy a traditional wooden house with tropical trees and culinary herbs garden, lotus pond. There are three different areas for meditation / relaxation and your room in wooden floor with AC and a tub or shower.

Sacred Space for Menopause

The transition into menopause invites you to cocoon, increasing your time to rest and restore, to allow you to tune into your inner being and discover by yourself the way you want to live the years ahead.

This transition is part of a mystery, an alchemical journey…Cooking allows you to connect with that mystery, the mystery of life, to make alchemy with the ingredients and your hands, to rest in the flow and relax into just being. The kitchen gives you the choice to enter the path -wherever you feel comfortable- of complete self-acceptance, resting in the confidence that only the wise woman inside can provide.

Your kitchen is not simply a place for food preparation. It’s a sacred space, a sanctuary for self-discovery and communion.

Claudia is here to show you how the kitchen transforms into a place of healing. You will cook, meditate, get insights, and wander around the Cambodian lands and ancient temples.

This vacation offers a blend of culinary therapy alongside, mindfulness-based coaching, meditation, neuro-psycho-spirituality, and the healing power of nature.

This unique one-on-one immersion is an opportunity to deep dive together into a journey of transformation, where we build a woman-to-woman relationship to tap into our inner wisdom and create a safe and intimate space where you can listen to your inner voice to get clarity and vision.

You will learn bespoke techniques to self-regulate yourself in moments of hesitation, doubt, and uncertainty, which are very common states during the transition into menopause.

Location

Rice paddy fields in the Cambodian countryside

This retreat is located in a farmer's village, surrounded by paddy fields, vegetable farms, and a slow-paced life. The quietness and peace of the area make it special for meditation and mindful walking.

It is also close to an organic vegetable market, where the program sources all the food for the meals, and also have the opportunity to visit during your stay.

Every day, in the open landscape you will enjoy sun gazing morning and evening, clear sky, and moon bathing.

The airport is located 25 minutes taxi ride and the Angkor Wat Complex is 20 minutes taxi ride far from Shojin Kitchen.

The serene surroundings of the rice fields, the slow pace of the inhabitants of the village, and the grounding energy of the Angkor Wat temples frame your time in the kitchen, the coaching sessions, the silent moments, and the self-care activities that Claudia will curate especially for you.

Food

The package includes plant-based meals (locally sourced), morning and afternoon teas, and snacks. You will also experience hands-on cooking sessions (mindful cooking).

The wholesome and plant-based meals and preparation styles integrate the commonalities of Naturopathy, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Macrobiotics, and the Western approach to nutrition.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Siem Reap–Angkor International Airport (SAI) or Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH). Airport transfer is not provided. However, Claudia can help you coordinate your pick-up to bring you to the venue.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
