From Bariloche at the very north of the Andean Patagonia, to Ushuaia, at the southernmost tip of Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia extends its beauty through dramatic sceneries that are worth seeing. Impressive glaciers, colorful rivers, endemic forests, epic trails to walk through, amazing ocean wildlife, lonely roads along endless steppe - the options to get amazed are as big as the attractions that compose this vast territory.
You will stay in mostly double occupancy rooms, with dorms in the mountain refuges.
Arrive in Ushuaia (from your flight from Buenos Aires), and then transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day will be yours to enjoy at leisure!
In the morning, you’ll have half day excursion to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. You will visit one of Ushuaia’s classics in the best possible way: in a small group and against the crowds. Throughout the excursion, you will be closely in touch with nature and the tranquility that it conveys.
You will stroll along the principal and most important trails in the national park, which are of low difficulty. In half a day, you would’ve walked enough to have a special and unique impression of the Fuegian ecosystem.
The well-trained guides will pass on to you all of their experience and passion for these surroundings, giving away a once in a lifetime experience. Lapataia Bay, Roca Lake, and Ensenada Bay will be the southern spots that will be introduced to you to during this unforgettable excursion. Entry fee to the park is included.
In the afternoon (approximately from 14:00 to 20:00), there will be a shared excursion to Martillo Island and Harberton Ranch in order to walk among penguins for about one hour. The excursion is the one of Piratour. Entry fee to the ranch and Penguin Rookery is included.
In the morning, there will be a half day shared excursion to Esmeralda Lagoon, a colorful lagoon in the Andes mountains with a trail that will start not far from Ushuaia. The hike will take approximately five hours, return.
In the afternoon, there will be a shared navigation in the Beagle Channel. It’ll be a 3.30-hour navigation in a yacht (with around 25 people) that will go to Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, going by Lobos and Pájaros Islands and the Bridgets Islands.
The transfer to the port is not included, but is in downtown anyways. Port tax is included.
After transfer to the airport in Ushuaia, you’ll take a flight from Ushuaia to El Calafate (not included). There are usually two to three per day, depending on the date. Beyond BA suggests one in the morning.

You’ll have a full day private guided trek to Cerro Torre, reaching the lagoon with great views on the mount. Then, after a refreshing lunch box (included), you will continue towards the area of Lagunas Madre e Hija along a picturesque trail, which will lead to the area of Campamento Poincenot.
There, you will stay for the night in order to catch the “Laguna de Los 3” in the first hours of the morning in the following day. The private trekking tour guide is included.
Early in the morning, you will hike up a pronounced pendant toward the Lagoon de Los 3, with fantastic views on the Fitz Roy Mount. The idea is to reach it on time for the first lights of the day.

Entry fee to the park is included.
After a private transfer to the bus station, you’ll have a bus ticket from El Calafate to Puerto Natales (about six hours). You will take a private transfer to the hotel afterwards.
This day’s trip will begin as you take the 07:00 bus from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park.
Once you get to the park, you can start your first trek to Las Torres Base, which will begin with a hike through the Patagonian pampas and steepen as you enter the Ascencio Valley, giving you spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and lakes.
You will continue hiking, past the Chileno Mountain Hostel and through a native lenga forest. This part of the hike will take about an hour and is over rocky terrain, lined with enormous boulders. Awaiting at the end is the most awe-inspiring view of the three iconic granite towers and glacial lagoon.
Walk along the quiet mount shores of Lake Nordenskjöld, at the base of the magnificent Mount Almirante Nieto and its hanging glaciers. You will be drawn to the beauty of these enormous summits looming over the turquoise lake below and will want to capture the incredible scenery forever in a photo.
The lake is surrounded by amazing geographical contrasts and is home to many birds, so Beyond BA recommends that you look out for condors overhead. You will then continue along the Arriero River, which offers great places to relax and refill your bottle with fresh running water.
Once you reach the highest viewpoint, you will be able to see the lake in its full glory, as well as the French Glacier hanging from the Paine Grande Mountain.
The day will begin with a wonderful hike into the Francés Valley. Along the way, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of pure nature, be surrounded by majestic mountain peaks, and feel totally immersed in wild vegetation.

The grand finale of this trek will be like no other: a lookout with incredible views of the Francés Glacier and the rest of the Paine Massif Mountain Range.
This day, you’ll hike along the Grey Valley. The trail undulates between rocky areas and native forests that are home to many species of birds. Walking along the base of the park’s tallest mountain, Paine Grande (3,050mt / 10,000ft), the nonstop views of hanging glaciers spilling over the mountaintop will feel somewhat surreal.
Leaving the tree cover, you’ll reach the first lookout over Lake Grey and slowly start seeing more and more pieces of floating glacier. The larger they get, the smaller you´ll feel. Finally, you will see the breathtaking view of Grey Glacier and all her glory.
You’ll get to Refuge Grey, wherein you’ll have lunch, and then you’ll have time to go back and forth to the impressive Hanging Glaciers (3.5 hours back and forth from the refuge, plus another three hours to reach from Paine Grande).
Return to Paine Grande, and then connect with a catamaran to Lake Pehoé. Bus back to Puerto Natales.
