A few kilometers from Alba, the Corte Gondina Boutique Hotel is a small boutique hotel with 14 personalized rooms, swimming pool, garden, and personal spa. Elegant and comfortable, it is situated in the center of La Morra, a small village in the heart of the Langhe, a region famous in all over the world for Barolo wine and gastronomy. In a delightfully private habitat, Elena and Bruno, the owners, have skilfully combined past and present to create a unique experience.
The hotel follows a hospitality philosophy different from the ordinary because it wants to be, for its guests, an out-and-out “home far away from home”. Crossed the gateway of the entrance of Via Roma, the slow and cocoon-like rhythms of the “home” will envelop you, making your holiday in Langa unique and unforgettable.
The swimming pool is located where years ago one found the vegetable garden of aunt Radegonda. It's a small haven of rest in the center of the village where you can revitalize yourself and relax from dawn until dusk. The swimming pool is opened from May to October, exclusively for the hotel guests.
Programm
On the first day of the tour, you will leave La Morra, crossing Langhe hills. You will arrive at the Ligurian sea and you will come back on less known roads of Ligurian hinterland. It will be possible to ride off-road on Alta Via Ligure. On the second day of the tour, you will travel on mountain roads on the French border. You can ride the Via del Sale and other off-roads at an altitude of over 2000 meters. During these excursions, you will learn all about hazelnuts in a hazelnut farm.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive in La Morra (a UNESCO heritage) after 15:00. You can rent a BMW motorcycle and it is possible to arrange the transfer from an airport or train station. Enjoy dinner free and overnight at the Corte Gondina Boutique Hotel.
Day 2: La Morra - Liguria - La Morra, 280 kilometers / 174 miles
Start from La Morra towards Liguria. There's a possibility to choose an off-road itinerary and have a light lunch on the beach. Visit a hazelnut farm and afterward, you will have your way back through the Alta Via Ligure. Aperitivo in hotel at your arrival.
Day 3: La Morra - French border - Piedmont alps - La Morra, 240 kilometers / 149 miles
Start from La Morra towards the French border. You will cross passes and over 2000-meter high roads . There's a possibility to choose an off-road itinerary at high altitude.
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, there's a possibility to arrange a transfer to an airport or train station.

- The total distance from Milan is 165 kilometers.
Driving directions from Torino or Savona
- If you arrive with the motorway A6 (Torino-Savona), the advised exit is Marene-Cherasco.
- Afterward, you have to drive on the new road, direction to Cherasco.
- As soon as you leave the toll gate, you have to drive in direction to La Morra.
- The total distance is 66 kilometers from Torino and 90 kilometers from Savona.
