According to your demand, qualified retreat supervision will be available.
The home offers three guest rooms, two of which are lower and upper-level duplex suites connected via a spiral staircase with a private bathroom and shower. The third room is a single room with a shower and sink. The lavatory is shared.
The following items will be provided by the center, and you don't need to bring them:
All rooms in the center are always booked as single rooms (unless you book the room directly as a couple or for two people).
You'll have accommodation in a large duplex room (31 square meters) with a lake view, a shower bath, and a spiral staircase connecting the levels of the room. There is also a beautiful view over the garden, meadows, and bird sanctuary towards the lake.

This program is a long timeout for people in search of an intense retreat. It is for people seeking an individual retreat (couples are also welcome). There will be other people in the house, likewise on an individual retreat.
According to your demand, qualified retreat supervision will be available. Little Paradise will suggest a daily schedule encompassing times for meditation or prayer, contemplation, walks in nature, reading, creativity, and small talks to share and reflect upon the inner process.
Guests are free to choose how far they would like to follow the suggested schedule and participate in the activities. It is also possible to (partly or completely) follow your own retreat rhythm or plan.
On your arrival day, you can receive instruction on meditation and the possible meditation postures or positions. Beyond this, they can occasionally provide a verbal introduction to some meditation techniques, if this is the demand of some guests. Such introductions usually last 15 to 20 minutes and always end in silence.
During the silence, you can continue the respective meditation on your own or you can practice your own style of meditation.
In general, you can always practice your own meditation or deep relaxation technique or prayer in silence (even with headphones, because others can still always hear it). In this case, you can just disregard the introduction given for the other participants as "background noise."
Antje and Maria personally prefer to practice a certain form of heart meditation that leads to deep trance states. They start the group meditations together and you can choose how long you want to stay.
On the day of arrival, the participants and the instructor will usually have a one-on-one talk, in which they discuss what questions or topics are most relevant for the retreat and how Little Paradise can best support them. In this conversation, they will also discuss a possible daily schedule.
Little Paradise has a suggested daily schedule that is suitable for most retreat guests. However, this is only a suggestion, and depending on the goal of your retreat, you can deviate partially or completely from it.
In any case, you will be free to design your retreat according to your own needs and wishes. Only the starting times for the group meditations in the morning at 07:00, and in the evening between 21:00 and 22:00. (depending on the season) are fixed. Participation in these sessions is welcome but always optional.
The individual supervision starts with an initial meeting on the day of arrival, in which you discuss the goals / wishes / needs for your retreat. In this meeting, you'll also discuss a possible daily schedule.
It is also possible to have one-on-one conversations once a day during the retreat. In these one-on-one conversations, you can talk about your process during the retreat, your meditation experiences, or other questions that you may not be able to deal with on your own. Such conversations might be helpful for beginners as well as experienced retreaters.
In any case, these conversations will remain focused on the topics mentioned above. According to experience, these one-on-one talks normally take a maximum of 15 minutes.
Of course, you can spend the retreat as a silent retreat. It's always quiet in the house, but other guests and Little Paradise, as hosts, will talk a little. Many guests have one day of silence per week.
If you want to do a silent retreat for the entire length of stay, they recommend that you have a short (five to 10 minutes) daily talk to accompany the silent retreat. Experience has shown that this can be very helpful.
Ultimately, however, this is just a suggestion on their part which you do not have to follow. Though, in any case, there will be an initial talk on the day of arrival.
A maximum of eight people will take part in the retreats, mostly with differing arrival days. Antje and Maria are, of course, also present in the center as hosts.
