Main hall
They have mattresses, pillows, blankets in the hall. The hall has three doors or exits. One door connects to the kitchen. Another door connects to the public restrooms, and the main door is the main entrance to the hall. The intention is to promote a group of people or groups of people.
The main hall is secure too. All the walls are made of wood, and the main structure has nets for protection. It is suggestable to bring the most important things for that period of time.

Programm
Iquinatour Agency has worked with the Mamaycuna Lodge since 2021 offering safe Ayahuasca retreats. It offers facilities for accommodation, overnight stays, food, pick-ups and transfers. What they are looking for is that everyone looks for some answer during the Ayahuasca ceremony. They do not wish evil on anyone and only want everyone to come out with good energy.
In some programs, there will be three ceremonies in a row, so that each one can experience a gradual process of ayahuasca on a daily basis. It is not intended to intoxicate people, much less seek consequences of exaggerated intakes of Ayahuasca, but quite the opposite. The intakes are in minimal doses, especially in a very small bowl and the frequency of intake per ceremony is a maximum of three small bowls / cups.
If the participant wants only one per night, that's fine, and if they want to have two or three drinks per ceremony or night, it is at the discretion of each one, since the team cannot exceed the doses or go against the will of the participant.
Ayahuasca is still practiced in Iquitos and in Peru in general. We cannot say that it is illegal or legal. Ayahuasca can be found even in the deep forests of the Peruvian Amazon. Ayahuasca helps enormously to understand traumas and overcome them, there is also evidence of physical aid in the medium and long term.
Iquinatour Agency with Mamaycuna is here to contribute to the good practice of Ayahuasca rites or ceremonies. Participants should keep in mind that this is not a game. Ayahuasca has its own hallucinogenic characteristics. It cannot be compared with mushrooms and other psychedelics.
The participants must come with that mentality of wanting to understand Ayahuasca without making absurd comparisons with other holistic processes. You must respect each holistic process in its own dimensions.
Iquinatour Agency and Mamaycuna ask each participant not to have taken or practiced other types of holistic treatments before the first Ayahuasca ceremony, or at least wait 10 or 14 days to want to take Ayahuasca. If you are among people who have taken any drug or stimulant or some other synthetic before, Iquinatour Agency and Mamaycuna cannot be sure that they are in good condition to participate in Ayahuasca ceremonies. Iquinatour Agency cannot do laboratory tests if they have consumed drugs or not, that is at their own discretion and the responsibility of each participant. The warning is that each participant is aware of what they did and what they will do with the Ayahuasca ceremony.
Many fear Ayahuasca ceremonies because they have read or listened to suggestions and warnings. Mamaycuna and Agencia Iquinatour just want guests to enter the lodge in a healthy way and guests leave the premises in the same way. Safe and sound, that there are no deaths or some kind of indecent process. The team wishes everyone to go well and in personal harmony.

Roman Castillo Perez is the shaman of Mamaycuna Ayahuasca Retreat Center. He knows very well how to guide every single Ayahuasca Ceremony. He has been taking Ayahuasca since he was a kid of only 12 years old. He is the master of Ayahuasca Ceremonias.
Lage
Mamaycuna Lodge is located in Puerto Alegria Zone, in front of Cabo Lopez Port, in the Southern Part of Belen District. Mamaycuna is a small, traditional Amazonian healing center situated on the banks of the Itaya River about half an hour outside of the jungle city of Iquitos in Perú.
Itaya is one of the parts of the Peruvian Amazon Basin. Just visiting their house, you will feel free of any technology and stress distractions. You and nature will connect with each other. The calm that you need is located here in Mamaycuna Healing Center.
