Ayahuasca
Ayahuasca or Yagué, refers to the liana that is used for spiritual practices or in ceremonies developed in an open or closed space, with facilities such as mattresses, buckets, and other accessories so that the practice is harmonious. It is commonly called the rope of the dead because it takes you to strange and abstract dimensions that allows you to identify with your problems, torments, and sorrows.
Iquinatour Agency has been working with the Mamaycuna Lodge since 2021 offering safe Ayahuasca retreats. It offers facilities for accommodation, overnight stays, food, pick-ups, and transfers. What they are looking for is that everyone looks for some answer during the Ayahuasca ceremony. They do not wish evil on anyone; they want everyone to come out in energy and alive.
Ayahuasca is still practiced in Iquitos and in Peru in general. Ayahuasca can be found even in the deep forests of the Peruvian Amazon. Ayahuasca helps enormously to understand traumas and overcome them, there is also evidence of physical aid in the medium and long term.
Iquinatour Agency with Mamaycuna are here to contribute to the good practice of Ayahuasca rites or ceremonies. Participants should keep in mind that this is not a game. Ayahuasca has its own hallucinogenic characteristics. It cannot be compared with mushrooms, and other psychedelics.
The participant must come with the mentality of wanting to understand Ayahuasca without making absurd comparisons with other holistic processes. They must respect each holistic process in its own dimensions.
Program
They put three ceremonies in a row, so that each one can experience a gradual process of Ayahuasca on a daily basis. They do not seek to intoxicate people, much less seek consequences of exaggerated intakes of Ayahuasca, but quite the opposite, the intakes are in minimal doses. Especially in a very small bowl and the frequency of intake per ceremony is a maximum of three small bowls / cups.
If the participant wants only one per night, that's fine, and if they want to have two or three drinks per ceremony or night, it is at the discretion of each one, since they cannot exceed the doses or go against the will of the participant.
First of all, they bring support to you before, during, and after the Ayahuasca ceremony. They start having communication on different media channels like Facebook, e-mail, phone calls, or WhatsApp messages. It is important to have interviews before the Ayahuasca ceremony.
They do this first, because it is important that you know this is a strong activity that requires more concentration possible and be self confident what you are going to do. They suggest you to tell them the truth about your way of living such as if you were taking drugs, what kind of injuries you're suffering, what is the purpose of you coming to Mamaycuna Ayahuasca Retreat Center. They try to respond all the questions in this process.
They ask each participant not to have taken or practiced other types of holistics before the first Ayahuasca ceremony, or at least wait 10 or 14 days to want to take Ayahuasca. For people who have taken any drug or stimulant or some other synthetic before, they cannot ensure if they are in good condition to perform Ayahuasca ceremonies with them.
They cannot do laboratory tests if they have consumed drugs or not, that is at their own discretion and responsibility of each participant. The warning is that each participant is aware of what they did and what they will do with the Ayahuasca ceremony.
Many fear Ayahuasca ceremonies because they have read or listened to suggestions and warnings. They want that just as you enter the lodge in a healthy way, you leave the premises in the same way. Safe and sound, that there are no kind of indecent process. They wish everyone to go well and in personal harmony.
When you decide to be here and they notice that you're quite worried about Ayahuasca, they stimulate you with amazing conversations that you have to drift apart from those fears before taking the Ayahuasca doses.
During the ceremony, please do not move alone or howl aloud. Respect other people's belief and practices. Try to concentrate on yourself until the ceremony ends.
