Day 1
Upon arrival at El Calafate (FTE) airport, Shanti One Yoga will greet you and arrange one group transportation to the hotel (time to be determined). Take the remainder of the afternoon to relax or explore the little town. Later in the evening, join for an opening circle at 17:00 at the yoga space, followed by a welcome dinner at 18:00 (included).
Day 2
This Patagonia journey will start with a Hatha yoga practice at 08:00, followed by breakfast at 09:00. At 11:00, the adventure will begin!
You'll be in a shared 4x4 tour where every moment is a unique experience. The coast of Lake Argentino is surrounded by nature and history. The ascent to the Punta Bonita cliff will allow you to have an excellent panoramic view. The Punta Walichu archaeological site, where the cave paintings made by natives are interpreted in the walls, will also be visited.
The group will finish the tour with lunch in one of the caves, with an impressive view of the lake and mountains (lunch included - vegan / gluten free menu available upon request). After the tour, participants will return to the hotel. You will have the rest of the afternoon to relax (dinner not included).
Day 3
After yoga and breakfast, join Shanti One Yoga at 09:00 for a truly unforgettable adventure. The Blue Safari is tailored for those who not only want to sail in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier, but also dream of experiencing it up close!
This tour offers a fantastic opportunity to witness and be awestruck by the grandeur of the Perito Moreno Glacier, filling your soul with natural energy. Upon reaching Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, a mere seven kilometers from the footbridges, the group will board a boat to cross Lago Rico.
After a 20-minute sail, you will disembark on the opposite shore. The group will then leisurely walk for 30 minutes, always with a view of the south wall of the glacier, in case you witness a thunderous ice detachment. As you approach the ice, get ready for an unforgettable experience.
Immerse yourself in the vibrant hues, whites, and whimsical shapes of the glacier, creating a truly memorable moment.
Day 4
At 08:00, the journey to El Chaltén, known as the National Trekking Capital and located 220 km from El Calafate, will commence. Along the way, you will pass the Santa Cruz River and make a brief stop at Estancia La Leona, by the river of the same name.
Following these, you will travel alongside Lake Viedma, towards El Chaltén. Upon reaching Chaltén, you will have five hours to explore this charming mountain town (meals not included). Participants will return to Calafate late in the evening. There will be no yoga on this day. Enjoy your well-deserved rest.
Day 5
After the last yoga session at 08:00, have breakfast at 09:00, and then have the rest of the day to unwind or explore Calafate town. At 17:00, the group will prepare for their final adventure.
Spend an afternoon in the countryside visiting the key sites of Estancia 25 de Mayo, where you can enjoy a chat around the stove to learn about local history, life in Patagonian ranches, and life of the pioneers of El Calafate. There will also be a demonstration of herding and shearing in the old warehouse.
The tour will continue along a flora path, where different native plants can be seen, then arrive and enjoy the view of the hills, the Calafate stream, and a tasting of mulled wine and candied lamb. The walk will go on to the organic orchard and the old facilities that surround the main part of the ranch.
The visit will continue with a show dinner at the Quincho Restaurant, where you can enjoy the traditional Patagonian lamb and the folkloric show with local artists (vegan and gluten-free options available upon request).
Day 6
This day, you will enjoy breakfast before heading to Calafate's airport as a group (transfer time to be determined). Check out will be at 10:00.
