The accommodations are located in the cute beach town of Torre De La Horadada. All the beach houses are in close walking distance to the center of town and to the beaches. Each house has a balcony from which you can rest and enjoy a good book. There are also coffee shops and restaurants on the nearby beaches and surrounding areas.

You can choose single or double occupancy rooms depending on your preference. Wi-Fi access is available. Please note that the accommodations can vary depending on your choice. Sun Salute Retreats is happy to send you updated photos of the room of your choice on request.

Programm

Overview

Many people join this training course, even though they do not intend to teach in the future, but simply too deepen their own practice and start their path towards incorporating meditation and pranayama into their daily lives. This course will enable you to obtain a solid easy foundation of daily practice so that you can enjoy the many benefits of meditation.

After the training, you will be able to guide a 1-hour meditation and pranayama session series or individual classes. plus be able to teach yoga Nidra.

Optional evening yoga class: please note, these evening classes will however be taught in Spanish (but great to improve your Spanish and hang out with the locals.

Day 1: Friday

Day 2: Saturday

  • 08:30 - 09:00 Lecture: What is yoga
  • 09:00 - 09:45 Learn the foundational postures for meditation and hands on adjustments
  • 09:45 - 10:00 Break (you are welcome to do both or just 1 yoga class)
  • 10:00 - 11:30 Vinyasa yoga class (intermediate / advanced)
  • 11:45 - 12:45 Easy yoga
  • 13:30 - 15:30 Lunch break
  • 15:00 - 16:15 Practice teach the pranayama sequence in 2´s

  • 16:45 - 18:45 Meditation workshop (learn everything you need to know about meditation and different techniques, plus mantra)

This training will take place in the small beach village of Torre de la Horadada, Spain at the Sun Salute Yoga Studio. Torre De La Horadada is a tranquil Coastal village, situated on the border of Alicante and Murcia.

See real Spain and enjoy the towns of Pilar de la Horadada and San Pedro del Pinatar, which are a few minutes away. For culture, they are also a short drive to the cities of Murcia, Cartagena, and Alicante. Or if it's relaxation you want, they have the many beaches just a few yards away.

Filled with local and international restaurants with different options of fresh healthy cuisine. Alicante Airport is a 40-minute drive away, and Murcia Airport is 10-15 minutes drive. During your free time, you have the option to explore the local and international restaurants with different options of fresh healthy cuisine. With great weather, a chain of unspoiled blue flag beaches, a marina, little bars, and restaurants, it makes a great place to visit.

Your daily breakfast is included in the price of your retreat. All breakfasts are self-catered. You can help yourself to eggs, toast, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, tea, and coffee. Vegetarian and vegan healthy meals can be provided for an additional cost on request during your stay, kindly send an inquiry to Sun Salute Retreats for more info through messages and they can send you the details.

They offer additional meals for an additional cost. The chefs are highly trained and use fresh ingredients and seasonal produce from local suppliers, to create healthy food to savor and look forward to, so you can focus on your studies. They believe in creating menus that combine nutritional balance with great tastes and textures.

They have fully functioning kitchens that you are welcome to use and supermarkets within walking distance to the beach houses. There are also many local restaurants that serve Spanish, Mexican, Chinese, Indian, Cuban, Italian, or English food options.

There are also supermarkets close by and if you arrive early on Friday, you will be able to go to the local farmer's market before the first class starts. Early arrivals are welcome at 10:30 am. The Farmers Market closes at 2 pm on Friday. However, the supermarkets are open all day. There is a fully equipped kitchen for students to use.

You are asked to not book your flights until you get the go-ahead from Sun Salute Retreats that there are enough students for this trip to take place. Also, insurance is not mandatory but recommended.

If by any chance this trip is canceled for any reason. They will not cover the cost of the flights until you are given the go-ahead.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight and arrive at Murcia-international airport Airport (RMU) (transfers will be 50 EUR there and back) or Alicante-Elche Airport (ALC) (transfer is 70 EUR per car) each way.

Arrival by train

You can also get to Sun Salute Retreats by train to Balsicas Mar Menor where Sun Salute Retreats can pick you up for free.
