Vidyamor's guests are welcomed with a family atmosphere and individual care. Visitors stay in this private guest room that can be occupied by a maximum of three people. This lovingly furnished double room has an adjoining shower room / toilet and private garden terrace in the small guest house.
In addition to the double bed, there is a sofa that can also be used as a single bed. The accommodation also has a small raw-food kitchen, a wood-burning stove, and a private bathroom.
The guest house is surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. A veranda with deck chairs and a lawn with a hammock invite you to linger. The panoramic window with a view of the Atlantic and the cozy Swedish stove replace the television. The adjoining small veranda with a cozy seating area under a vine arbor and comfortable deck chairs beckons for you to simply relax.
Accommodation as well as meals are provided free of charge when booking.
Programm
Reiki is an ancient relaxation and healing method from Japan. The "universal life energy" is passed on to the recipient during the treatment by gently laying the practitioner's hands on them. It can activate the body's self-healing powers, provide mental well-being, and help dissolve emotional blockages.
Each participant receives a certificate at the end of the course. Everyone has the opportunity to become a "Reiki channel" in the form of an initiation. The energy is transmitted in three degrees:
First degree
- History and meaning of Reiki
- Initiation into the first degree
- Hand positions / treatments
Second degree
- Explanation of the symbols and mantras
- Application of the symbols
- Initiation into the second degree
- Laying on of hands with symbols
- Chakra work
- Remote healing
Third / master degree
- Initiation into the "master degree"
- How to teach the I, II, and III degrees
You will deal with the theory and practice of Reiki for about two and a half hours each morning over five days. From midday onwards, you will have free time. You are welcome to take advantage of the naturopathic offers such as massages, cave saunas, and much more, or explore the island and its attractions.

You can walk directly from the house to the impressive viewpoint "Torre del Time" on the edge of the Caldera de Taburiente, a huge inactive volcanic crater with a diameter of 10 kilometers.
If you have a lot of energy, you can continue hiking to the "Roque de Los Muchachos." At almost 2,500 meters above sea level, it is the highest point of La Palma.
If you love the sun, Playa de Tazacorte - the sunniest place in Europe - will be your destination.

Im Shivananda Ashram in Kerala, Indien, erhielt sie ihr Yogalehrer-Zertifikat. Im Jahr 2006 gründete sie zusammen mit Olay "Vidyamor". Es ist eine Oase für Fastenkuren und Naturheilkunde, Wellness und Yoga. Seit dieser Zeit konzentriert sie sich auf viele verschiedene Arten von Reinigungs- und Entgiftungstechniken in Kombination mit Rohkost.
Olay Bowald
Olay reiste viele Jahre über alle Kontinente von Mutter Erde. Er muss in seinem früheren Leben ein Yogi gewesen sein, da er als Kind viele der Asanas als Spiel praktizierte. In verschiedenen Workshops rund um den Globus übte er seine Fähigkeiten in den verschiedenen Disziplinen des Yoga. Im Jahr 2006 hörte er auf zu reisen und schlug Wurzeln auf der kanarischen Insel La Palma, wo er zusammen mit Yamuna "Vidyamor" gründete, eine Oase für Fasten-Detox-Kuren, Wellness und Yoga. Seit 2004 ernährt er sich überwiegend nur noch von lebendigen Lebensmitteln.
Lage
Vidyamor, an oasis for naturopathy and yoga, fasting retreats, and wellness, lies hidden in a wild romantic valley on the sunny west side of La Palma, the greenest of the Canary Islands.
The oasis is only accessible on foot. Since the slightly uphill walk from the parking lot to the house takes about seven minutes, they recommend taking a backpack with you instead of a suitcase.
