Programm
Day 1: Arrival to Marrakesh
Transfer to your hotel, where you will be able to settle in and relax by the pool to prepare for your trip the next morning. You will meet your tour guide and go through a welcome briefing as well as the formalities required before the start and you will receive your welcome pack.
Day 2: Marrakesh - Bin El Ouidane (approximately 220 kilometers / 136 miles)
You will receive your BMW bikes early in the morning before starting your journey towards Bin El Ouidane. You will head towards the High Atlas on normal roads to warm up, so you can get used to your bike as well as local driving habits before tackling the winding mountain roads. The roads will provide an excellent insight to the great riding Morocco has to offer.
You will visit the scenic waterfalls of Ouzoud, where you will have some time to do a short walk around. Your stop for the night will be in a nice hotel on the border of the lake where you can relax by the pool or discuss the first day at the bar.
Day 3: Bin El Ouidane - Azrou (approximately 270 kilometers / 167 miles)
You will leave the hotel in the morning and start your climb into the mountains with magnificent views of the lake beneath and the pine forests. You will tackle plenty of twists and turns before commencing a slow descent towards Khenifra, which will be your lunch stop for the day.
From Khenifra, you will turn east and climb through the Azigza National Park, which offers a great setting. The road gets narrower and eventually turns into gravel tracks that zig-zag through the Ifrane National Park, all the way to your hotel, located on the edge of Africa’s largest cedar forest. As this area is home to the infamous Barbary Apes, you will hopefully see them around while riding through the forests.
Day 4: Azrou - Midelt (approximately 210 kilometers / 130 miles)
We’ll leave the hotel in the morning and head straight off-road for a fantastic morning. We’ll ride rocky trails, vast plains and dirt roads through the Ifrane National Park. We’ll be riding through breathtaking scenery and the many photo stops will be welcome on the sometimes challenging terrain. A short tarmac ride will take us to Zaida for lunch, only to track back a little and then head off-tarmac again for some sand and large tracks towards the abandoned mining town of Aouli, perched in the valley. We’ll then head to Midelt and our hotel for some rest before the challenges of next day.
Day 5: Midelt - Agoudal (approximately 200 kilometers / 124 miles)
Another stunning off-road day awaits. We’ll start straight with sandy tracks winding across the plateau of the Middle Atlas before heading towards more challenging terrain. As we reach the High Atlas range, we’ll ride rocky riverbeds, steep climbs and – depending on the weather – might have to find our own path if the tracks have been washed away by rain. M
It is a day with multiple water crossings and a ride through the less explored side of the Atlas. We’ll have a picknick lunch as restaurants are non-existent in this part of Morocco. The last part of our day will consist of gravel tracks and broken tarmac before we descend towards Agoudal to our comfy guest house in the mountains.
Day 6: Agoudal - Skoura (approximately 200 kilometers / 124 miles)
As we will leave Agoudal and head towards Boumalne Dades. We will start the day with rocky tracks and some beautiful off-road ride up to nearly 3,000 metres, offering unique scenery and an epic ride. We will then hit the main national road where real fun begins. We will ride on the wonderful winding roads of the Dades valley where there will be plenty of opportunities for photo stops. This motorcycle ride will take us through the most photographed switchbacks of Morocco. From there we will continue our journey through battered road sections that will turn into gravel roads and then some more tarmac before reaching our lodging in the oasis of Skoura.
Day 7: Skoura - Marrakesh (approximately 270 kilometers / 168 miles)
The great motorcycle adventure continues as you ride through the small winding roads of the Atlas towards Marrakesh. You will tackle switchbacks and turns as you ride mostly above 2,000 meters before before arriving back to the headquarter to return the bikes.
You will then be taken back to your hotel where you can spend the rest of the evening rewinding the best moments of the trip or you can decide to take the time to explore the city. This will be the last opportunity to invite your guide for a drink at the bar.
Day 8: Departure from Marrakesh
Depending on your flight time, you might take the opportunity to relax or visit the city before the arranged pick-up takes you to the airport.
