Accommodation
Dovecot Farm has been designed with comfort, convenience, and best in class as a top of the equestrian agenda. The barn provides functional spaces for riders including separate his and her restrooms. Both restrooms offer shower and changing room facilities. The barn manager lives on the 11 acres property. Boarding facilities include 12 x 24 client track room and 12 x 24 feed room - both with air-conditioning. Covered areas are dedicated to wash and tack up areas, leaving the center aisle for moving traffic.
Luxurious 12 x 24 brand new Saratoga European stall fronts await your equine partner. All stalls are fitted with both stable comfort mattress system at the front with matted sections on the outer sections. It is a stunning space! The sand arena is 200 x 120 feet fenced with the Equissafe fencing. The 11 acres are all fenced with the super safe Equissafe product, including two large paddocks at the front of the property. There is an electric gate with code for guests only. The car parking lot is assigned for guests, delivery vehicles, and trailer parking. Dovecot Farm also has a wonderful space for yoga, inside with stunning nature views as well as outside in nature.
Apartment
The accommodation is a serene apartment located in the property’s farmhouse. The apartment offers one bedroom with a queen-size bed, plus a day bed in the sitting room. bathroom, Comcast, and internet are also available in the apartment.
Program
The retreat programs incorporate a combination of Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL), coaching, mindfulness, leadership, and yoga. The yoga instructors for this retreat are from Moksha Yoga Studio, which is based in Wellington.
Itinerary
Day 1
- Meet and greet at the farmhouse
- Workshop opening - poem/chime sound
- Introduction to why horses can heal and how horses add value to human as teachers/guides/ coaches
- Reiki circle
- Bio break in the farmhouse
- Discussion on the importance of emotions within the herd dynamic
- Step outside to tour Dovecot Farm’s barn
- Brief participants on meet the herd activity
- Introduction to each horse through a mindfulness exercise
- Come back to the barn and feedback horse interaction
- Lunch in the farmhouse
- Afternoon session - yoga in the farmhouse boardroom ( if it's cool outside, you can look into the pond and fountain)
- Dinner on your own
Days 2 to 5
- Breakfast
- Dovecot Farm will incorporate more Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) and coaching exercises
- Learn how to lead one of the horses (activity to build a connection with a horse by leading one around obstacles)
- Feedback on communication styles and the meaning of leadership - 'what does a follow-worthy leadership mean?'
- Lunch in the farmhouse
- Yoga class
- Dinner on your own
Day 6
- Breakfast
- Dovecot Farm will incorporate more Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) and coaching exercises

It is the eleven-acre coaching, boarding, and events facility located in Loxahatchee Groves, Florida. Its space is designed to enable corporate transformation, personal growth, and self-development. This is a stunning private equestrian retreat that provides an intimate environment and exclusive space for one couple at a time. It will be truly unforgettable.

Both meals are dependent on your food preferences (vegan/fruitarian/ vegetarian etc.). Food form to be issued prior to the arrival. For dinner, you can choose to go out. Dovecot Farm will advise you on recommended restaurants and will assist you to make bookings.
