Come to South Africa and explore this country on two wheels! Blessed with stunning sceneries, South Africa is the perfect place for a relaxing motorcycle tour. Starting from Cape Town, you will continue your journey to Cape Point, Boulders Beach, the semi-desert region of Tankwa Karoo, Cederberg, and Langebaan, then back to Cape Town.

Program

Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town and Table Mountain

Morning: Arrive in Cape Town and check into your hotel. After settling in, head out to explore the iconic Table Mountain. Take the cable car up for stunning panoramic views of the city, the Atlantic Ocean, and Robben Island. If you're up for it, consider hiking one of the trails for a more immersive experience.

Afternoon: After descending, ride through the city, taking in sights like the V&A Waterfront, Green Point Lighthouse, and Sea Point Promenade.

Evening: Return to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner at one of Cape Town's famous eateries, perhaps sampling some local seafood or Cape Malay cuisine.

Day 2: Cape Point, Boulders Beach, and Hout Bay via Chapman's Peak

Morning: Set off early and ride to Cape Point. This dramatic promontory is rich in history. Named by Portuguese explorer Bartolomeu Dias in 1488 as the "Cape of Storms," it was later renamed the "Cape of Good Hope" by King John II of Portugal, reflecting the optimism of a sea route to India.

Mid-morning: Continue to Boulders Beach in Simon's Town to see the famous colony of African penguins. Take a walk along the boardwalks to get close to these charming creatures in their natural habitat.

Afternoon: Ride along the stunning Chapman's Peak Drive, one of the most scenic coastal roads in the world, towards Hout Bay. Stop for photos and take in the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Evening: Spend the evening in Hout Bay, exploring the harbor, and perhaps enjoying fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants.

Day 3: Cape Town to Cedarberg via Ceres and the Tankwa Karoo

Morning: Depart Cape Town and head northeast towards Ceres, known for its fruit orchards and scenic landscapes. The route will take you through the semi-desert region of the Tankwa Karoo, characterized by its rugged beauty and solitude.

Afternoon: Continue your ride into the Cedarberg Mountains, famous for their dramatic sandstone formations, ancient San rock art, and the unique Rooibos tea plants that grow in the area. The Cedarberg is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, offering hiking, rock climbing, and stargazing opportunities.

Evening: Arrive at your lodge in the Cedarberg. Enjoy a hearty meal, and perhaps relax with a drink while gazing at the star-studded sky.

Day 4: Cederberg to Langebaan via the West Coast

Morning: Set out from Cederberg towards the West Coast. This region is renowned for its rich fossil beds and pristine beaches. En route, you can stop at the West Coast Fossil Park to see the remnants of ancient creatures that once roamed the area millions of years ago.

Afternoon: Arrive in Langebaan, a charming seaside town known for its lagoon and water sports. Take some time to explore the Langebaan Lagoon, perhaps trying out kayaking or simply relaxing on the beach.

Day 5: Langebaan to Paarl and Franschhoek

Day 6: Franschhoek to Cape Town via Grabouw and Elgin Valley

Morning: Ride over the breathtaking Franschhoek Pass, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Continue through Grabouw and the Elgin Valley, known for its apple orchards and cool-climate wines.

Afternoon: Enjoy the scenic ride back to Cape Town. Arrive in the city and return your motorcycles.
