The Morvan is a great place to come and ride your dirt bike! This Enduro trail riding adventure holiday is based around the beautiful old market town of Château-Chinon, with riding trails in the Morvan National Park. Each day your guide will have you riding a new route. Your riding will be anywhere from 150 kilometers to 240 kilometers per day where 99% of it is off-road. If you are seeking a thrilling adventure, then this is the right holiday for you!

Program
Day 1: Arrival in Château-Chinon
Arrive at your hotel in Château-Chinon and get unpacked.
Day 2: Château-Chinon - Lac des Settons - Château-Chinon (179 kilometers / 112 miles)
Leaving your hotel in Château-Chinon, you will head north on one big circular loop up towards Montsauche-les-Settons. After stopping for lunch around Lac des Settons, you will continue north towards Dun-les-Places, here you'll turn and start to head south towards Ouroux-en-Morvan, and then back to the Hotel at Château-Chinon. The total distance is around 179 kilometers.
Day 3: Château-Chinon - Brassy - Château-Chinon (190 kilometers / 119 miles)
After leaving the hotel you will head north again, this time towards Ouroux-en-Morvan. You'll then head west towards Lac des Settons. Today you will be riding in the figure of "8" pattern, stopping for lunch around Brassy in the north. After lunch, you'll head back south to the hotel continuing the figure of "8" pattern. The total distance is around 190 kilometers.
Day 4: Château-Chinon - Chalaux - Lac des Settons - Château-Chinon (240 kilometers / 150 miles)
This is it! Make sure you have a good breakfast since you're in for a long day today. This time you'll head north again right to the very top of the park towards Chalaux, stopping only for a very quick lunch around Brassy. After Chalaux, you'll start to head south where kilometer after kilometer of single track will await you! It's then a fast run towards Lac des Settons then back to the hotel for a well-earned beer and your departure. The total distance is around 240 kilometers where 99% of it is off-road.
Notes
- You need to bring your own motorcycle and you need to provide your own fuel. In the Morvan, you can use a local filling station next to the hotel.
- You need to bring your own riding gear, dry and wet weather.
- Your endure bike should be road legal and so should you.
- Bring a pack to carry your water and snacks and also a rain jacket.

Dougie Aitken
As an enduro guide, Dougie has over 40 years riding enduro. Having spent many years riding internationally at the six days enduro each year for Scotland, he picked up a good level of riding. He moved to France 13 years ago and set up Enduro Holidays in the Alps and the Morvan area. He has now been riding up in the Morvan for the last three seasons great area.

This motorcycle tour will take you to various places in Morvan National Park area in Nièvre department, France. The tour will start and end in Château-Chinon each day, and you will traverse through various locations including Montsauche-les-Settons, Lac des Settons, Dun-les-Places, Ouroux-en-Morvan, Brassy, and Chalaux.
