Thailand Meditation and Yoga Retreat
Spend your days with yoga and meditation on the beautiful island of Phuket! Hatha yoga gives strength, flexibility, and quiets the mind through asanas and breathing techniques (pranayamas). You will experience different types of meditation that you easily can bring into your daily life. Every second day, you can enjoy the beach or go on trips. This is a wonderful opportunity to give yourself space to feel and embrace your soul, body, and mind. This course gives you lots of input and every second day off to digest and time to enjoy the island life. You are invited to a Thai-dinner on the last evening; you will get an introduction to Phuket!
You will stay in a wonderful resort with stylish clean rooms with air condition. The resort is located right at the beach. There are several pools, a restaurant, and sunbeds. You will find a lot of attractions, shopping possibilities, and restaurants nearby. It is easy to rent a motorbike or travel with public transport in the area.
At this summer retreat in Phuket, you will have the opportunity to feel the moment, the warmth, and your heart. You'll explore various meditation and visualization exercises in a calm environment and good company. The retreat lasts for seven days; the course consists of Hatha yoga, Yin yoga, meditation, and exercises to increase personal awareness.
The yoga exercises will be guided, it will be balancing, slow exercises that provide strength, extension, and open to the bodily consciousness and provide grounding. Each yoga session ends with relaxation. EnergyBliss will introduce you to various meditation exercises that can also be used in everyday life when you are home again.

Gitte has worked with personal development and meditation for 25 years. Graduated as a reflexology therapist in 1991 and clothing designer in 1998. She has worked individually and in groups on various types of bodywork, massage, rebirthing, channeling, inquiry, meditation, dreamwork, diet, feminine energy, dance, and coaching. Gitte has visited and lived in the Temple of That Phanom on the Mekong River in northeastern Thailand and stayed for 12 months in the temple.
Mikael has worked with personal development and meditation for 38 years. He has been educated as a healer at Bob Moore and as a masseur at Northern Light Massage.

Phuket has it all! The peninsula faces the Andaman Sea with long white sandy beaches in each bay and rainforest-covered hills. From here, you can easily go on day trips to e.g. Similan Islands, Phan Nha Bay, Koh Phi Phi, James Bond Island, and lots of other exciting little islands.
You can visit the Big Buddha on top of the mountain in the middle of the peninsula, visit Phuket Old Town, and the big night market. There is a sea of wonderful cafes, restaurants, and shopping opportunities. You can easily take a taxi or scooter from where you live to Aochalong Villa Resort & Spa where EnergyBliss teaches.
