Escuela Montalban presents a course to learn to cook Spanish food while learning Spanish in Granada, Andalusia.
Spanish cooking classes
What better way to bring to you the tastes of Andalusia than to take you directly into an Andalusian kitchen. Join Escuela Montalban in Granada, the last Muslim Kingdom in Spain, and learn about the Arabic legacy still prevailing in the succulent gastronomy of this beautiful Eastern Andalusian region.
Spanish cuisine owes a large part of its typical dishes to the Arabs. Although many cultural achievements from that period were forgotten when the Christians reconquered Spain, the art of cooking and baking has remained. You will learn how to prepare some of the most exquisite recipes coming from Al-Andalus times.
Your teacher is a professional cook with many years of experience in catering. She will demonstrate the preparation of special dishes, or a tapas selection. There will be private or group cooking classes every day from Monday to Friday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. (2 lessons of 45 minutes every day) including lunch. This cooking lesson is for all levels.
