Daily itinerary
Day 1: Arrival / Marrakech
Welcome to Marrakech! After settling into the hotel, explore the medina, taste local specialties, and wander through the maze of the souk. In the evening, join a briefing on the raid and enjoy a traditional meal before returning to the hotel to rest for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Ouarzazate - 250 km (155 miles)
Depart from bustling Marrakech and journey into the heart of the Atlas Mountains, the backdrop for this adventure. The route includes exploring the Aslif Asilii valley before arriving in Ouarzazate, the first stage of the journey.
Day 3: Demnate - 250 km (155 miles)
Experience a day of contrasts as the route climbs to the peaks of the Atlas. Travel along a hidden track through a wild valley of glowing rocks before descending into a peaceful, green valley where the night is spent.
Day 4: Dadès - 170 km (106 miles)
Travel west through the spectacular Amejgag Gorges. The journey then descends to a lower altitude, following a scenic track to Dadès, located in the heart of the Valley of Roses.
Day 5: Tislit - 190 km (118 miles)
Begin the day in the cool air of the Dades Gorges, ascending in the morning before reaching the high valleys of the Atlas. Explore the trails near Mount Amalou and spend the night by the twin lakes of Isli and Tislit, situated over 2,200 meters above sea level.
Day 6: Beni Mellal - 200 km (124 miles)
Delve deeper into the Atlas, passing through unexplored landscapes dotted with isolated villages and unspoiled Berber culture. This day offers an authentic experience far removed from the usual tourist paths.
Day 7: Marrakech - 250 km (155 miles)
Enjoy the final sections of trails through the Eastern High Atlas National Park. The route descends into the plains, leading back to Marrakech for the last night of the raid.
Day 8: Marrakech / departure
Depending on departure schedules, there is time to explore Marrakech further before leaving.
