The lodge has been beautifully renovated to the highest standards of comfort in sits in a countryside setting.

  • Accommodation - All bedrooms have twin or triple beds and en-suite facilities.
  • Kitchen / Dining Room - Flooded with light from patio doors to the Sunken Garden and sun terraces, it’s a farmhouse kitchen like no other. All meals will be cooked and delivered here.
  • Games room - Enjoy a game of table footie or maybe air hockey, snooker, or table tennis.
  • Full fiber Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The two living rooms and all the bedrooms have a Smart TV with Netflix and an entertainment package.

Upon your arrival at our charming country lodge, you will be enveloped by a profound sense of tranquility. Nestled in stunning countryside, the lodge strikes the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience. Experience restful sleep in one of the spacious en-suite bedrooms and unwind in the outdoor hot tub. Participate in a range of low-impact exercises, including stretching, breathing techniques, body conditioning, and strength training, all guided by our qualified instructor. Enjoy guided nature walks and engage in fun evening activities!

You will be served three nutritious meals each day, prepared with the freshest ingredients, in our elegant kitchen/diner. All activities are completely optional. This is your Wellness weekend—take as much time for yourself as you desire, whether you want to relax in one of the many reception rooms or join in activities. No matter your age or experience level, you will feel warmly welcomed, so why wait?

Daily Activities

Day 1

Arrival from 16:00 where you will check in and settle into your room whilst enjoying a hot drink and sampling one of the healthy cakes. Have time to unwind and relax before your evening meal at 19:00 followed by entertainment.

Day 2

  • Rise and shine with Gemma’s stretch class before enjoying your hearty continental breakfast.

Lording it above the lazy meanders of the River Waveney alongside a friendly working arable farm near the elegant Georgian, foodie-heaven market town of Bungay, the retreat lodge is just a country stroll away from award-winning artisan cheese producers and historic vineyard slopes.

The Broads National Park, the fine historic city of Norwich, and the beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coast are all just a short drive away.

Food

Gemma Tossell Wellness will prepare nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners and snacks will also be available. You are welcome to bring your own drinks but they will provide teas, coffee, water and squash. If you have specific requirements, please feel free to bring them with you.
