The Glass House Retreat is not here to preach or bark orders at you. If you feel like a personal training session rather than a group class, that’s fine. If you feel like staying in the pool, no problem. Simply enquire during your stay. The Glass House Retreat do recommend their set programs, so you can achieve the best results for yourself. But, it’s up to you!

The Glass House Retreat alternate different schedules between days, and you’ll have lots of free time for your pre-booked spa treatments.

Before breakfast, there's an arranged one-hour-long countryside walk. There’s nothing better to fire up your metabolism and ready you for the day. You’ll feel brilliant.

The equilibrium diet includes three plant-based raw food meals a day and is engineered for a less intense weight loss diet designed for bio-equilibrium that is healthy, relax and detoxifying.


While Glass House Retreat always advocates healthy weight loss, if you are looking for a more intense diet then you could try their pure juicing diet. It offers vitamin and mineral-rich juice for breakfast and lunch and a plant-based raw food meal for dinner, so you won’t go hungry. The diet is for the more committed but healthy, effective, and cleansing for your body and mind.

Weight loss

If you’re new to plant-based raw food then this is the healthy weight loss diet for you. It’s Glass House Retreat's introduction to the world of raw food with three plant-based raw food meals a day. Enjoy a healthy, effective, and detoxifying experience.

Recommended Airports

Driving direction from the North

  • If you are coming to the Glass House Retreat from the North on the M25, get off at junction 29 to go on to the A127 towards Southend
  • Head to Bulphan turning right on to the A128 and taking the 3rd exit of the roundabout
  • Turn right on to Church Road leading on to Fen Lane
  • Glass House Retreat is on the corner of Harrow Road and Fen Lane on the left-hand side

Driving from the South

  • If you are coming to the Glass House Retreat from the South or the centre of London, get off at junction 31 of the M25 to go on to the A13 towards Southend or take the A13 out of central London
  • Head to Bulphan turning left on to the A128 at the roundabout
  • Turn left in the centre of Bulphan on to Church Road leading on to Fen Lane *Glass House Retreat is on Fen Lane on the corner of Harrow Road and Fen Lane on the left-hand side

Arrival by airplane

Book your flight to arrive at London City Airport (LCY). From the airport, you can take a taxi to get to the Glass House Retreat. You can also land on London Stansted Airport (STN), Heathrow Airport (LHR), or Gatwick Airport (LGW) then continue your journey by taxi.

Arrival by train

The nearest Train Station is West Horndon, 30 minutes via train from Central London and a 5 minute taxi ride to the retreat.
