Daily itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Welcome to Hanoi City, the capital of Vietnam rich in history and culture. Upon arrival, welcomed by the driver and transferred to the hotel to leave your heavy luggage. Then it is your free time to relax after the long flight. (Optional: Hanoi by night food tour on scooter).

Day 2: Hanoi - Pu Luong

Breakfast at the hotel. At 7:00 a.m., you will be picked up from the hotel. Leaving traditional Hanoi and starting your trip to depart for Pu Luong. At 12:00 p.m., upon arrival, visit Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Your 10-kilometer trekking course starts at 1:30 p.m.

You will explore Kho Muong, an isolated village surrounded by a valley and the largest cave in Pu Luong, using off-road trails via streams and mountains, then head to scenic Bang village to discover remote houses with beautiful terrace fields. At 5:00 p.m., return to the hotel for dinner and leisure time. (Optional: Cooking class). Overnight in Pu Luong.

Day 3: Pu Luong - Hanoi

Breakfast at the hotel. At 8:30 a.m., you will be picked up at the hotel for today's water adventure experience. At 8:45 a.m., you will experience a two-and-a-half-kilometer walk crossing a suspension bridge, admiring the giant water wheels. Arrive at Chieu Lau Dam to embark on a bamboo rafting experience. You will paddle the raft upstream with locals.

At 10:00 a.m., you will embark last two-kilometer trek through a stunning landscape of rice fields and ethnic village life before completing the loop trail. At 11:30 a.m., return to the hotel, have lunch, and prepare. At 1:00 p.m., transfer back to Hanoi. Between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m., arrive at the hotel in Hanoi. Leisure time exploring the city nightlife. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi - Sapa

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. From 6:30 to 7:00 a.m., you will be picked up at the hotel for a transfer to Sapa. Between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m., arrive at Sapa. The driver will pick you up at the bus drop-off location and have you transfer to the hotel. Relax and enjoy your leisure time. In the afternoon, your guide and driver will meet you up at the hotel for a leisurely walking trip where you enjoy the scenery of spectacular Fansipan Mount and experience the daily life of Vietnamese people in the suburb of Sapa town.

On the ride uphill, you get to stop at the magnificent Silver Waterfall and the highest mountain pass in Vietnam - Tram Ton Pass and Heaven Gate. From here, you will have a leisure walk of half an hour to admire the breathtaking scenery of both two sides of Hoang Lien Son mountain range. On your ride back downhill, you may stop for pictures of a lush farm in O Quy Ho where different kinds of vegetables, flowers, fruit trees, and even medicinal plants have grown for years which makes this part of Sapa evergreen.

Transfer back to your hotel between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. Enjoy your leisure time exploring the night of Sapa town and be ready for your two-day cycling course where you enjoy the scenery of Muong Hoa Valley and Ban Ho Valley and experience living among hill tribes.

Day 5: Sapa: Hill tribe visit on bike (Day 1)

Breakfast at the hotel then check out. Your guide will pick you up at the hotel, your luggage will be transported by your vehicles. You will be provided with high-quality mountain bikes and all bicycles are carried out on a one-to-one basis, of you and your guide. Your trip starts from Sapa. You cycle downhill on a windy road that goes along Muong Hoa Valley. The valley is home to Black Hmong, Giay, and Red Dao minorities.

From the road, you will have many opportunities to enjoy the amazing scenery of mountains and rice paddy terraces as far as the eyes can see. After a short break in Su Pan, you will cycle downhill until you reach Thanh Phu village of Tay minority. Here, you stop for lunch in a traditional Tay house. After lunch, your ride will be mostly uphill; you head toward Sin Chai village of the Red Dao minority. Overnight in a local house in the village.

Day 6: Sapa: Hill tribe visit on bike (Day 2) - Hanoi

Today’s ride will be a little softer. You will pass by some tinny villages. You can stop by a local school and give children some small gifts such as pens or books. You will also be able to meet the Xa Pho minority, one of the smallest ethnic groups, which cannot be found in other areas. You will pass by Thanh Phu and continue to Ban Ho Valley.

In Ban Ho, you will enjoy lunch in a local house. After lunch, you will take a short walk to the nearby river, where you will be able to have a swim. You can take a break and have a cup of tea in a Tay house before your ride back to Sapa. At 3:00 p.m., arrive at the hotel in Sapa. Enjoy your leisure time. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 7: Sapa - Hanoi

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. From 7:00 to 7:30 a.m., you will be picked up at the hotel and transferred back to Hanoi. Between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m., arrived at the hotel in Hanoi. Enjoy your leisure time. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 8: Hanoi departure - Saigon arrival - Half-day city

Breakfast at the hotel. It is free time until your driver picks you up from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City. You will be picked up by your tour guide and driver to start your half-day city tour. Visit Cho Lon (Big Market) and Thien Hau Pagoda which is located in Chinatown. Continue to Bach Dang harbor. After checking in the Waterbus tickets and stabilizing your seat, the boat will start to depart.

During the trip, you will have a unique view of the most typical commercial buildings of the city including the Vinhomes Central Park urban area, the magnificent Landmark 81 tower, the Bitexco Financial Tower, and the green peaceful District 2. A lot of stunning moments are waiting for you. Try to discover the soul of this land - Saigon River by water bus, maybe you will realize many miracles, a more accurate view of the land once called Paris of Indochina or the Pearl of the Far East. At 6:00 p.m., transfer back to your hotel for check-in.

Day 9: Full-day Mekong Delta and Cu Chi tunnel tour - Small group tour

Pick up at your hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. The trip to Cu Chi will take you an approximately one-and-a-half-hour bus drive. Before exploring the tunnels, you will watch an introductory video about how the tunnels were made and how Vietnamese people survived the harsh conditions of wartime. Then, spend your time exploring the remaining areas and tunnel system which include special living areas with kitchens and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs.

Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerrillas’ food during the war) will be served. Break time. Have lunch at the local restaurant. Continue to visit My Tho city. With a boat trip on the Tien River, you will be excited by the light breeze from the river and the natural beauty of four beautiful islands such as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise along the riverside.

Cruise through the small canal by sampan, treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside, and take a short cycle around the village which will certainly be an unforgettable experience when participating in the Mekong Delta tour. Visit the coconut candy workshop, and enjoy seasonal delicious fruits and honey tea. Get a chance to listen to Southern Vietnamese folk music which is performed by local people. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Trip ends.

Day 10: Saigon - Bus to Phnom Penh

Early breakfast at the hotel. Picked up by the bus and transferred to Phnom Penh City, the capital of Cambodia. Upon arrival, picked up by a driver and transferred to check in at the hotel. Your time at leisure. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 11: Morning Phnom Penh historical tour - Phnom Penh evening food tour - Small group tour

In the morning, take a journey through the captivating city of Phnom Penh with a local guide. Explore the highlights of the city's turbulent history: Tuol Sleng Museum, Royal Palace, and the Silver Pagoda. First, visit the stunning Royal Palace and witness the grandeur and magnificence of the Silver Pagoda, adorned with highly polished silver walls, Italian marble floors, exquisite gold carvings, and intricate diamond designs that glisten with every ray of light.

After that Climb the steps to the Wat Phnom Temple and join locals and foreigners alike in praying for good luck and prosperity. Lastly, learn the darker sides of Cambodian history with the Tuol Sleng Museum which provides an in-depth look into some of the darker periods of Cambodian history. The tour ends around 12:30 p.m. and they take you back to your hotel for a rest.

In the afternoon, at around 5:00 p.m., you will be picked up by your tour guide and the unique vehicle tuk tuk to start your night street food tour. Enjoy a delicious evening on this food tour of Phnom Penh by tuk-tuk. Discover tantalizing traditional dishes, explore the Russian Market, and finish with a local craft beer or cocktail. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 12: Phnom Penh departure - Bus to Siem Reap

Early breakfast at the hotel. Picked up by the bus and transferred to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, picked up by a driver and transferred to check in at the hotel. Your time at leisure. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 13: Siem Reap - Full-day floating village bike and boat - Small group tour

This is a chance to Catch a breath of fresh air, enjoy the picturesque countryside, and savor a local lunch on this bike tour from Siem Reap. Ride through charming backroads, visit Kampong Phluk, and relax during a sunset cruise on Tonle Sap Lake. First, you will challenge the Tonle Sap and countryside trails. The terrain is varied, mainly flat, and followed by a mixture of tarmac roads and dirt roads passing the countryside and floating village.

You continue touring the famous Kampong Phluk floating villages by riverboat. Explore the stilted house and get a fascinating insight into the ways the local people live in the region.
