Moroccan Culinary Experience
The workshops cover modern, edgy Moroccan dishes taught in the riad, and traditional classes over coals take place in a High Atlas courtyard kitchen, setting the kitchen fires and prepping a lunch. The latter remains unchanged over time, with an olive-farming family. This day is now held in the hamlet camp following the earthquake. It is all the more special, as the classes give hope for the future and celebrate the resilience of astonishing families.

You will stay 5 nights in House of Fusion Marrakech and 1 night in Essaouira.
House of Fusion
It is a place where you will slumber in opulence, shower under Philippe Starck, lounge and dine terrace top, have breakfast in a courtyard, and feel pampered every step of the way. All rooms are doubles, except for Itri, which has a twin bed or a king size bed.
All en-suite bathrooms are inspired by Philippe Starck and have underlid cascading glass hand basins. Bedrooms all have bedding by Simmons, walls of tadelahkt, tiled floors, regional rugs, French antique bed linen, antique Kasbah door headboards, toiletries, and fresh flowers.
Echaama
A wonderful double spanning the gallery, sunshine all day, and a ceiling as if it is in marzipan.
Itri
A room with twin beds or king size bed with afternoon sunshine, tiles laid as if they were little carpets, long windows to fling open, and an intricate ceiling.
Tamsrite
A sunny double room overlooking the courtyard with a beautifully handcrafted ceiling, long windows to fling open the day.
Targa
A lovely courtyard double room, perfect for either solo guests or couples. It has an ornate ceiling, deep silled windows.

Program
How you will spend your days in Marrakech
- Airport transfers
- Welcome feast and wine pairing at the beginning of the course, with a cocktail.
- 8-dish Moroccan Fusion Lunch Class, with wine at lunch. The class begins with menu planning, writing the shopping list in Arabic, going forth into the market, choosing produce in your new language, and then it's back to the prep table with baskets groaning. Prep, prep, prep, for your feast.
- Dinner tonight at a nearby rooftop favorite, with a cocktail in the riad first. Booze at the restaurant is extra.
- Shopping extravaganza to hidden places holding hearts' desires with lunch and a cocktail on a terrace deep inside the medina.
- Barbershop shave for the blokes while the ladies loll, quaffing champagne in the riad. *Tapas and Wine Dinner, at the riad, either on the terrace or by the fire.
- Last night, after your day in the High Atlas, bistronomic dinner in Gueliz, with a cocktail here first. Booze at the restaurant is extra.
How you will spend your 2 days and 1 night in Essaouira
8 am depart Marrakech for the 2.5-hour drive to Essaouira, staying right on the ramparts in gorgeous accommodation. Enjoy seafood in the port, dine at night in a wicked spot, swish down cocktails, and eat deliciously. Wander the converted ships' chandlers, lose yourself in the charming alleyways under the flapping wings of the biggest seagulls known to man. 2 x lunches, dinner, and booze are extra, apart from a cocktail to begin. B&B, coffees, and refreshments.
3 pm the following day, depart Essaouira for Marrakech after a morning over a leisurely breakfast terrace top, strolling the ramparts, and enjoying a seafood lunch.
Dinner is somewhere exotic, 10 minutes from the riad. You might want to stop for a bowl of sea snails in a piquant broth in the Big Square on the way. Booze is extra in the restaurant.
How you will spend your wonderful day in the High Atlas
8 am you are in the car off to Cook in the High Atlas, traditionally over coals, with the ladies of an olive farming family in the remotest of hamlets. We will stop for coffee and the best m'smmns. You will drive the Tizn Test in the most breathtaking scenery until turning down a hidden, bumpy lane to the river where we will walk across a rickety bridge into a tiny hamlet where tea and goodies await. Then it's sleeves up, to set the kitchen fires and begin the lunch prep, starting with blistering the peppers.
