The retreat is designed to guide participants in understanding Self-Enquiry meditation and experiencing the inner transformation it brings. It offers a Solitary Retreat experience, aiming to reach Deep States of Consciousness, ignite intense Aspiration for the Divine, and promote the Opening of the Heart. This method integrates Advaita Vedanta, Sufism, Tantra, and Dzogchen. In advanced stages, all authentic spiritual paths converge into the same Ineffable Reality. No prior meditation or yoga experience is required, making it suitable for both beginners and advanced meditators.
The main house is made of mostly natural materials: wood and bricks. It has a spacious meditation hall of 100 meters square feet with a wooden floor and lots of huge windows from which you can enjoy a panoramic peaceful view over the valley and forest. In the same building, there is a kitchen and dining room in a traditional Mexican style, as well as bathrooms and six twin, triple, or quadruple rooms. There are large terraces, both covered and opened, where you can relax and enjoy nature. There are also hammocks on the territory as well as some beautiful spots where you can meditate alone.
The retreat was specifically created to guide people in coming to an intimate understanding of what self-inquiry meditation is in order to experience the inner transformation that it brings. The program aims to create an experience resembling a solitary retreat (as in a cave), in order to provide the opportunity to reach deep states of consciousness, kindle intense aspiration for the divine, and arrive at the highly focused interiorization that enables the opening of the heart.
This method is a unique integration of Advaita Vedanta, Sufism, Tantra, and Dzogchen. In the advanced stages of practice, all paths of authentic spiritual traditions meet harmoniously and merge into the same ineffable reality. No previous meditation or yoga experience is necessary as this retreat is designed for beginners and advanced meditators alike. There is an agreement that during main meditation hours the construction work will stop working and support the silence.
This retreat features Guided Meditations, Lectures, and Practical Tools including:

This meditation will begin in smaller segments (for example, with short hourly breaks), building to one continuous, deep meditation session.
A single, gentle bell ring will mark the end of each meditation or other period and will signal a short break. A series of bell tones will indicate that the next meditation or another period will begin within two minutes and that it is time to take your seat and cease movement in the hall. A final, single bell will signal the start of a new session. Please do not enter the hall after the final bell has rung.

Kyle’s spiritual seeking and aspiration to find a deeper truth began when he was just a 15-year-old boy studying Buddhism in England. After traveling to Peru in 2013 to work with plant medicines, he met Sahajananda. Kyle connected very deeply with the teachings during his first Hridaya Silent Meditation Retreat. He decided to go to Mexico to go deeper in his practice and to partake in the Hridaya Teacher Training Course. Since that time, Kyle has been sharing the teachings and leading Hridaya Silent Meditation Retreats in many countries in Latin America.
Sasha is a Hridaya yoga teacher and meditation instructor. She also works as a psychotherapist. She has learned about ancient traditions of different cultures and approaches. For her, it was bliss to come in touch with Advaita Vedanta teachings, Ramana Maharishi’s Self-Inquiry method, and, especially, with Sahajananda’s teachings of Hridaya yoga, yoga of the spiritual heart. She is happy to have an opportunity to assist other people on the path.
