On arrival at Delhi International Airport (DEL), you will meet and greet with the tour representative and transfer to your hotel.
Morning after breakfast, board in a private minibus and proceed to Shimla (the capital city of Himachal Pradesh). Sit back and enjoy the scenic view of the Himalayan foothills. Afternoon reaches a beautiful hotel surrounded by pine/cedar trees.
After refreshments, meet with your cruise team followed by a brief introduction about the upcoming epic adventurous journey. It’s time to get familiarized with your machine (The Royal Enfield) as well as mountain traffic.
The epic journey begins; on the first-day ride of the Himalayan foothills, the motorcycle ride is simply a joy ride going through the beautifully paved zigzag roads. On the way, you will be mesmerized by the fascinating mountain view through the apple orchards on the legendary Hindustan-Tibet road.
Post lunch, stop at Jalori pass (3120 meters) to witness the breathtaking view of Indian Himalayan ranges, later continue the ride towards Jibhi where you will end today’s ride and stay overnight.
Today, proceed to Manali, a gorgeous hill station located in the lap of the Pir Panjal mountains. The landscape here is breathtaking. One sees well-defined snow-capped peaks, and the Beas River with its clear water meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny fields, and fruit orchards. On the way, cross several scenic mountain villages. Late afternoon reach Manali and check in at the pre-booked resort.
A trip to Lahaul Valley is most interesting while staying at Manali, during this trip you ride through the Atal tunnel built under the Rohtang Pass in the eastern Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas. At a stretch of 9.02 kilometers, it is the longest tunnel above 10,000 feet (3,048 meters) in the world. Visit a few Buddhist villages during this trip. Afternoon ride back to the hotel. The evening is free to explore the mall (Manali market).
How quickly these five days have passed off the Himalayan foothill trip! On this day, ride towards Dharamshala (the home of his holiness Dalai Lama). En route stops at Baijnath to visit the ancient temple of Shiva. Lunch would be at an authentic dhaba (restaurant) where you can taste the traditional foods of Kangra Valley. You will definitely love it.
Post yummy lunch, continue your ride toward Dharamshala through the Himalayan tea gardens and scenic villages of Dhauladhar Mountains. On arrival, check in at a pre-booked resort located from the chaos of city life. In the evening, enjoy dinner followed by a campfire at the resort.
In the morning, visit the "His Holiness Dalai Lama temple” and St. John church. Later, ride towards Pong eco village resort located on the bank of Pong dam. En-route visit the world heritage site “Masrur rock cut temples”. Post-visit, continue the ride along the countryside to approach the Pong Eco village resort.
Optional: You can take a short walk through the forest to reach the beachside and catch the mesmerizing sunset view and do bird watching.
It’s time to say goodbye to the mountain state as today you will be transferred to the railway station for your onward journey to back Delhi. Enjoy your train journey with unforgettable memories and exciting stories to recount. On arrival at Delhi railway station, a representative will pick you up from the train station and transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Today drop back to the international airport for your onward journey back home.
