Day 1: Hoi An / Da Nang to Kham Duc, 140 kilometers / 87 miles
Indochina Motorbike Tours will pick you up in Hoi An or Da Nang around 08:30 and take you through the rural life of locals such as incense making, basket-making village, and rice paper making. Then, head to My Son Holyland where you can visit the ancient Cham Towers and learn about their history and culture, and then travel to the Ho Chi Minh trail where you can learn about the Civil War of Vietnam before 1975 as well as enjoy the breathtaking nature of the area. Reach to Kham Duc around 17:00. Stay overnight in the small town. On the first day, you will ride for about five hours.
Day 2: Kham Duc to Kon Tum, 180 kilometers / 112 miles
After breakfast, you leave Kham Duc to visit other ethnic minority villages such as Churu, Tay, and Nung, to learn their tradition, customs, and cultures. Continue following the Ho Chi Minh trail to visit Phoenix Airport and other important bases of the southern government before 1975. Then visit Vinh Son Montagnard Orphanage and Wooden Church (built by French in the 40s), and stay overnight in Kon Tum. You will ride for six hours on your second day.
Day 3: Kon Tum to Pleiku, 180 kilometers / 112 miles
After breakfast, you ride your bike early from Kon Tum to travel to Kon K'tu village to explore the daily life of Bana, learn more about their culture, custom, and tradition, and then head to Mang Den to enjoy the breathtaking nature and its wildlife. Visit "Eyes of Pleiku" Sea Lake before check-in and stay overnight in Pleiku. On the third day, you will ride for about six hours.
Day 4: Pleiku to Cu Jut, 230 kilometers / 143 miles
After breakfast, you continue to ride your motorcycle and visit rubber plantation, Ede ethnic minority village to experience pleasure with their unique culture, etc. Then, travel to Dray Sap and Dray Nur waterfalls (the biggest waterfalls in Vietnam), enjoy the Fairy Pool after a long day ride, and stay overnight in the bungalow next to the Virgin Waterfall in Cu Jut. The fourth day will have the longest ride so far with seven hours on the road.
Day 5: Cu Jut to Lak Lake, 100 kilometers / 63 miles
Breakfast. You make your ride to visit the locals to learn how they process the coffee and taste the best coffee of Vietnam and visit the brick-making factory. Then, trek to the top of the Elephant Mountain to enjoy the panoramic view of the area, travel to Jun Village where you can learn more about the M'nong Hill tribe's culture and their elephant hunting legendary, and have some great shots of fishermen on Lak Lake in the dusk. Stay overnight in natural Lak Lake where you can choose a hotel or homestay with locals. The fifth day will be a rather easy day, with only three hours on the road.
Day 6: Lak Lake to Da Lat, 165 kilometers / 103 miles
Today, you can ride an elephant or a boat to pass the lake to visit M'lieng ethnic minority village and then explore Jun village to learn more about the rural life of the M'nong tribe. Stop at the foot of the mountain to see how locals make chopsticks, incenses. After visiting the orange agent areas to learn more about the Civil War of Vietnam before 1975, you can then go trekking through the jungle to relax and enjoy the breathtaking nature of the Central Highlands. Arrive in Da Lat around 17:00 after visiting Chicken Village, Paradise Lake, and the meditation monastery. Overnight in Da Lat. You will ride for about five hours.
Day 7: Da Lat city tour by motorbike
Located on the Langbian plateau, 1600 meters above sea level, Da Lat is a cool retreat from the heat of the coastal plains, well-known for its lakes, waterfalls, pine forests, and old French-styled villas. This city is also Vietnam's most popular honeymoon spot. Da Lat city tour includes the crazy house, the valley of love, flower garden, train station, King Bao Dai Palace, Da Lat market, and Tuyen Lam Lake by cable car through the mountains. Da Lat's night markets are well worth checking out.
Day 8: Da Lat to Bao Loc
You will set off your motorcycle trip by a long ride down on Road 20. En route, you'll get by so many mountains and valleys cum the local villages so that you sometimes have chances to enjoy the off-road ridings via forests or plantations or stop by to communicate with friendly locals. Checking into a hotel in Dambri. Visit the zoo and climb a waterfall.
Day 9: Bao Loc to Saigon with a stopover in Cat Tien National Park
You ride your bike to Cat Tien National Park. This forest area used to be the headquarter of the Vietnamese army during the war. The park suffered historically during the Vietnam War when it was extensively sprayed with herbicides like the defoliant Agent Orange. To this day, these areas have extensive bamboo and grassland cover and trees have not yet grown back. Right here, you will have a chance to experience off-road rides through jungles with dirt roads to explore the diversity of fauna and flora of the national park. You finish your special trip to Ho Chi Minh city.
