Day 3: World War I Area
In the morning, meet your guide and enjoy a brief private transfer to the starting point of today's Via Ferrata adventure. Navigate through a sequence of metal brackets and a staircase, reaching the entrance landing of a 500-meter-long tunnel at an altitude of approximately 2450 meters. Illuminated by lamps, the initial stretch involves walking along secure metal steps. Exercise caution in the subsequent section, as the rocky surface tends to be damp and slippery.
Upon exiting the tunnel, the cable diverges: veer left and proceed outdoors. After a brief uphill walk, you will arrive at the tunnel's end. From here, a few meters along an equipped rocky ledge lead to the cable's descent, intersecting with the path from the previous exit at 2630 meters. Prepare for awe-inspiring panoramic views guaranteed to take your breath away. Overnight at a family-run mountain hut with half-board.
Day 4: World War I Area
Dive into the breathtaking panoramas and beyond on your Dolomites Via Ferrata expedition. This route presents fewer technical hurdles but demands an elevated level of physical involvement. Overnight at a family-run mountain hut with half-board.
Day 5: Via Ferrata Tomaselli
Prepare for another exhilarating day of Via Ferrata adventure! Today's ascent takes you along the Via Ferrata Tomaselli to the South Peak. At the onset of the crossroad, veer left onto smooth rock, ascend a few meters, and then make a left turn. Here, you will encounter one of the most challenging points of the Via Ferrata - a brief passage through the crossing that puts considerable strain on the arms. The journey continues along vertical walls and exposed sections, but the rock transforms into a more 'staircase' structure.
Navigate through this part until you reach a tranquil stretch characterized by relatively easy but somewhat tiring rock steps. A path leads left to the High Cengia di Fanes; continue left to the base of steep stretches equipped only with a rope leading to a pulpit. From here, embark on the final and demanding segment - a lengthy dihedral ascent up to a fork and some rugged, highly exposed plates. Despite their inclination, these plates swiftly guide you to Punta Fanes Sud at 2980 meters. Overnight at a three-star family-run bed and breakfast in Val Badia with breakfast.
Day 6: Departure
Breakfast and departure on your own. Private transfers are available on request. Should you desire, there is also the option to extend your stay with a few more relaxing days in the Dolomites or explore one of Italy's most beautiful cities.
The itinerary is subject to changes due to accommodation availability.
