Itinerary
Day 1: Meeting in Alghero

Day 2: Alghero - Barumini, 220 kilometers / 137 miles
After a lavish breakfast, at 09:00 you start your Sardinian wandering along the superb panoramic coastal roads and exciting mountain routes, looking for lakes and prehistoric remains. You'll be transferred to the inland through twisting mountain routes and some awesome lakes, heading for Barumini where you'll see the fascinating Nuragic village of Su Nuraxi (Unesco World Heritage Site) and stop for the night.
Day 3: Barumini - Sant'Antioco, 220 kilometers / 137 miles
Back to the coast using other amazing mountain roads, you continue your itinerary on one of the most exhilarating and pleasant motorbike roads in Sardinia. You’ll finally in the Sulcis area, that was the first portion of the land to emerge when Sardinia loomed out from waters (during the orogeny at the beginning of Paleozoic), emerging completely, along with Corsica, during the Hercynian orogeny. You'll visit one of the most gorgeous caves that characterize Sardinia and then you'll go to see a delightful ancient Punic-Roman temple before riding back to the coast where you’ll stop in Sant'Antioco for the night.
Day 4: Sant'Antioco - Cagliari, 200 kilometers / 124 miles
Today, you will go on a spectacular scenic route above the sea used by the leading motorbike manufacturers (including Aprilia and BMW) to film their TV adverts and as test routes. After many turns and wonderful coastal panoramas, you arrive for a visit to the ancient Phoenician city of Nora before finally reaching Cagliari, the enchanting Sardinian main town where you’ll conclude the day. Italy on Motorbike suggests you have an aperitif in the old castle district, on the bastions, then a nice dinner in the picturesque harbor lanes and finish the evening with some nightlife at the Poetto, Cagliari’s beach, and discos area.
Day 5: Cagliari - Arbatax, 215 kilometers / 134 miles
More classic roads and breathtaking coastal scenery lie in wait, with further fascinating remains of ancient civilizations, before you head over to the eastern coast. A day amid sea and mountain for the pure pleasure of riding surrounded by splendid landscapes. You'll overnight in Arbatax by the sea, on the east coast.
Day 6: Arbatax - Emerald Coast, 200 kilometers / 124 miles
Another superb tour beckons out north-east. A great ride awaits on another great road for motorcycles, the legendary Orientale Sarda. You'll stop at the delightful sea enclave of Cala Gonone to then continue and descend again towards the famous Emerald Coast (Costa Smeralda) where you'll stop for the night.
Day 7: Emerald Coast - Alghero, 285 kilometers / 177 miles
You'll begin today’s tour between some of the most known localities of the Costa Smeralda frequented by the international jet-set and continue, as usual, on beautiful roads, to reload your batteries at the prehistoric energy center called Giants’ Graves (menhirs). There will be more corners in the moonscape scenery of Valle Della Luna until you reach the wonderful small town of Castelsardo on the north coast. You finally go and visit another type of nuraghe before reaching your departure place, Alghero, where you'll drop off the rented motorcycles by end of the afternoon.
