Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Meet the tour guide upon arrival in Delhi and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Spend some time for leisure. Then, go head to Chandni Chowk, take a cycle Rickshaw ride in Chandni chowk and Khari Baoli Spice Market, a busy shopping area with markets full of spices, dried fruit, silver jewelry, and vivid saris, while the narrow side streets are crowded with tiny shops selling essential oils, stationery, and traditional Indian sweets.
Day 2: Delhi - Agra (250 kilometers / 93 miles, 5 hours)
After breakfast, head to Agra then proceed to the hotel for check-in. Spend some hours relaxing. In the evening, visit Agra's old market with a guide. Overnight stay in an Agra hotel.
Day 3: Agra sightseeing in a private car with a guide
Visit the Taj Mahal, an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the southern bank of the river Yamuna in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to house the tomb of his favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal; it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself.
Then go to the Agra Fort, A historical fort in the city of Agra in India. It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638 when the capital was shifted from Agra to Delhi. Before the capture by the British, the last Indian rulers to have occupied it was the Marathas.
The rest of the time is free for leisure or to visit the market on your own. Overnight stay in Agra Hotel.
Day 4: Agra - Jaipur (250 kilometers / 93 miles, 6 hours) en-route, see the Fatehpur Sikri and Chand Baori
After reaching Jaipur, you check in at a hotel. The rest of the time is free for leisure. Overnight stay in the Jaipur hotel.
Day 5: Jaipur sightseeing in a private car with a guide
- Amer Fort: The old capital of the Kachhwahas, stands atop a range of craggy hills. The fort is remarkable for the majestic grandeur of its surroundings as for its sturdy battlements and beautiful palaces.
- Jal Mahal: A small palace set right in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, on the way to Amer Fort.
- Jaigarh Fort, standing on a hilltop, the world's biggest cannon on wheels - the Jai Ban is positioned here.
- Nahargarh Fort: it is located on a hill about 600 ft. above the city. The fort was built in 1734. The walls of the fort run along the ridge, and within are architectural beauties like Hawa Mandir and Madhvendra Bhawan.
- City Palace: It is situated in the heart of the old city; it occupies about one-seventh of the old city area. The palace is a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture; it houses a seven-storied Chandra Mahal in the center, which affords a fine view of the gardens and the city, and then visit the adjoining Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum.
- Jantar Mantar: An observatory built in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The massive masonry instruments were used to study the movement of constellations and stars in the sky.
- Hawa Mahal: It is known as "The Palace of Winds" or "The Palace of Breeze". Built from red and pink sandstone, the palace sits on the edge of the City Palace.
Then, after enjoying local shopping, stay overnight in a Jaipur hotel.
Day 6: Jaipur - Delhi (270 kilometers / 168 miles, 6 hours)
After reaching Delhi, then check in at a hotel. The rest of the time, visit Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple. Overnight stay in the Delhi hotel.
Day 7: Delhi sightseeing, end of this tour
- Red Fort. Shah Jahan constructed Red Fort in 1638. It was the main residence of the Mughal Dynasty and is located in the city center. It is made from red sandstone and that is where it gets its name from. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007.
- Raj Ghat, A memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, Raj Ghat is situated in Delhi. It is a black marble open to the sky and a flame that is eternal burns at one end. It is a great place to learn more about the history of the country.
- Humayun's tomb: The tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1558, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad, Persian architects chosen by her.
- Connaught Place: A frenetic business and financial hub centered on a ring of colonnaded Georgian-style buildings with global chain stores, vintage cinemas, bars, and Indian restaurants. Stalls at Janpath Market sell saris, embroidered bags, and trinkets.
In the evening, you will be dropped off at Delhi Airport or any desired location in Delhi. This marks the end of this tour.
