The villa has two floors and allows a maximum occupation of ten people. Downstairs, there are four bedrooms, two of them with a bunk bed and two bathrooms. There is also a toilet upstairs. There is free Wi-Fi in the house and cable TV in the spacious living room. Outside, there are several balconies with hammocks and puffs where you can relax after a surfing day or just chill out with a nice bottle of Portuguese wine.
Program
With the Diving and Stay package, you will be enjoying 7 nights in a shared or private room at the surf camp which is just 2 minutes away from the beach. You will be served a healthy and nutritious breakfast every day and you will take to the boat on diving days a delicious lunch snack-pack to regain your strength in between dives.
The diving starts the day after your arrival and the certified diving instructors will pick you up at the surf camp after breakfast and take you to the diving club to gear up and briefing. You will do two dives per day.
During your stay, you will be served with three homemade typical Portuguese dinners specially prepared by your host. If you are vegetarian, vegan, or have some food limitations, let Jho'La Surf Camp know and they will prepare something special for you.
Location
The surf camp is located in Vila da Luz right next to the city of Lagos in the Algarve, Portugal. Everything is within walking distance: two minutes to the beach, two minutes to the nearest bars and restaurants, and five minutes to the supermarket and pharmacy.

Food
During this surfing holiday, you will be served daily breakfast and five lunch packs (on weekdays), and three home made typical Portuguese dinners. Jho'La Surf Camp provides vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diet if necessary. Please be sure to tell them in advanced if you have any food allergies or intolerances.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Faro Airport (FAO), which is about a 50-minute drive from the surf camp.
Apart from Faro, you can get cheap flights to Lisbon and Seville, both of which are approximately 300 kilometers away. Jho'La Surf Camp encourages the arrival on Sunday to start the surf course on Monday. Transfers from and to the airport are available upon request.
Arrival by bus
From Faro, you can take the bus to Lagos and then the local bus to Luz.
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 35% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
