Day 1: Arrival - Dead Sea

Upon arrival, you will be greeted at Queen Alia Airport. Your driver will directly transfer you to your hotel in the Dead Sea, your accommodation wherein you will enjoy dinner (overnight in Dead Sea).

Day 2: Dead Sea - Almujeb Canyon - Dana Nature Reserve trekking

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in the Dead Sea. You will be heading towards Wadi al Mujeb, where you can ponder the stunning views of the canyon, trekking main trails such as the Seeq Trail which will take around three hours (not guided).

Jordan MW Tours will then transfer you to Dana Nature Reserve, Jordan’s largest nature reserve, covering some 320 square kilometers of spectacular mountains, as well as wadis along the face of the Great Rift Valley. There will be a short walking tour around the reserve (not guided). Your dinner and accommodation will be at your hotel in Dana.

Day 3: Trekking in Dana and camping

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Dana. Then, Jordan MW Tours will transfer you to Al Mansoura, which is a small town near the starting point of the trek through Wadi Ghuweir. You'll camp at Al Mansoura area to rest and have lunch, then go back to your hotel in Dana where your dinner will be served.

Day 4: Trekking in Dana - Petra

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Dana. You will begin the day with a trekking tour from Dana Reserve, heading towards the old village of Dana (guided). Then, start trekking from Dana Village until you reach Wadi Feynan. This will take around four to five hours. In the first hour, it will be downhill (guided).

Jordan MW Tours will then transfer you to the grand area of Petra. You can see little Petra on the road. You will also have the opportunity to attend Petra by Night show (available on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday), which is an unforgettable experience to be a part of. Your dinner and accommodation for the night will be at your hotel in Petra (overnight in Petra).

Day 5: Explore Petra - Petra trekking

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Petra. Your day will start by adventuring through the Petra Seeq (canyon), either on foot or if you choose to travel back in time, on a short horseback journey leading to “Al Khazneh,” known as one of the “Seven Wonders of the World.” Just imagine that the Arab Nabateans were there, more than 2,000 years ago.

Enjoy your lunch at Petra, then start trekking tour from Seeq to the Petra Visitor’s Centre where you can purchase entry tickets and pick up leaflets and a map of the site, then to Ad Deir (the Monastery) is one of the most fascinating landmarks of Petra, back from Ad Deir to al Baida area (guided).

You'll then walk back to your hotel in Petra, where your dinner and accommodation awaits.

Day 6: Petra trekking - Wadi Rum

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Petra. Start your trekking tour from Petra Visitor’s Centre to al Madras Area until you reach Jabal Al Madhbah, then head to Wadi Farasah (around five to six hours' trekking). Have a picnic lunch, then walk back to your hotel in Petra.

Afterwards, you will be heading towards “The Valley of the Moon,” Wadi Rum. It is one of the most picturesque deserts in the world, renowned as a filming location and features in movies such as “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Transformers,” “The Martian,” “Rouge One,” “Aladdin,” “Dune,” etc.

There, your adventure will also include a two-hour jeep safari, enjoying the naturally multi-colored canyons, Lawrence of Arabia’s house, the Sandstone Mountains, and the dunes of Wadi Rum.

The sunset over Wadi Rum is beautiful and serene. The slanting rays of the setting sun give a warm orange tinge to the sky over the beautiful desert.

You will also be able to relax for a few hours stargazing. This is a magical way to bring science alive and experience the beauty of the natural world during the dark of night (optional).

Then, you'll head back to your accommodation where you will enjoy a barbecue dinner (overnight in Wadi Rum).

Day 7: Wadi Rum trekking and camping

Enjoy your breakfast at your camp in Wadi Rum. You will start your day with a six-hour trekking tour. First heading towards Wadi Rum Village, you will walk through the village and into the desert. Next, you'll go to Wadi Um Ishrin, where you will walk through the valley's red sand dune. You can even climb the dune and enjoy running down.

Then, you'll continue and walk to the big rock wall called Anfishiyyeh. This rock wall is famous for its ancient inscriptions. Of course, you can take some time to admire them.

You'll camp at Wadi Um Ishrin, and Jordan MW Tours will prepare a Bedouin lunch for you. After this, you can walk around the area to explore it or you can rest. At the end of the day, you will walk back to your camp at Wadi Rum.

Day 8: Wadi Rum trekking and camping

Enjoy your breakfast at your camp in Wadi Rum. Jordan MW Tours will transfer you within an hour to the base of Jabal Um Dami to start the trekking.

Um Al Dami Mountain rises from the picturesque sands of Wadi Rum near Saudi Arabia’s border. At an elevation of approximately 1,854 meters, it is Jordan’s highest mountain and provides summit views. Climbers frequently visit the mountain.

The ascent is not difficult, taking about two hours and requiring very little scrambling. The mountain peak is home to a large number of hyraxes, a small rodent-like mammal that lives beneath the rocks. If you’re lucky, you might see them while trekking.

You'll camp at Um Dami to rest and have lunch. At the end of the day, Jordan MW Tours will transfer you back to your camp in Wadi Rum.

Day 9: Wadi Rum - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Amman

Enjoy breakfast at your camp in Wadi Rum. After this, Jordan MW Tours will drive you until you reach Madaba, a city known for the mosaic map of the Holy Land, which dates back to the sixth century, preserved in the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George.

Then, you will be heading towards your next stop, Mount Nebo, where you will ponder over the stunning views of the Jordan Valley, the hills of Jerusalem, and the Dead Sea.

Back at your hotel in Amman, you will enjoy dinner (overnight in Amman).

Day 10: Amman - Queen Alia Airport

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Amman. Depending on your flight time, Jordan MW Tours will transfer you a few hours earlier from your hotel to the airport for your departure.
