Set in the ancient and untouched city of Phitsanoluk you will have so much to see and do. This historical city boasts of ancient ruins, many beautiful temples as well as stunning countryside and mountains to explore.
Learn Muay Thai techniques by our experienced, witty and beginner friendly trainers. We teach you Muay Thai using the ancient and latest techniques, but make sure to keep it fun! We cater to all fitness levels, from beginners in martial arts to the more experienced.
If healthy eating and fitness is what you are about, JP's gym is a great pick. You'll have your own room with all facilities on site. There you will also find our cute cafe right next to the training area, where you'll be served delicious meals twice a day.

Your hosts are proud to have the best trainers for both Muay Thai and Western boxing, who are able to train across the board from beginner level to getting you fight ready. The trainers including Kru Jay have trained professional fighters at Olympic level.
The warm ups consist of skipping drills, running and dynamic stretching, they have specific technique classes from basic to advanced, bag work with pads and drills, this can be gym based or on location such as down by the river. In the afternoon you’ll learn techniques for clinching and sparring followed by cool down and deep stretches.
Then let your hosts know! They will take you through specific training to get you fight ready, they have been training competitive fighters in this area for many years so you’re in safe hands.
Wai Kroo / Ram Muay is a ritualistic and traditional dance carried out before Muay Thai fighters engage in the ring. The Wai Kroo is an act of respect to show honor to the opponent and his respective teacher. You will learn the Wai Kroo during your stay.
They have a fully versed gym and crossfit area, they hold regular cross fit and functional training classes too. They’ve found this an excellent combination to increase cardiac capabilities as well as overall strength. At the end of each session you can join in for “Ab Blast” where they take you through 5 to 10 minutes of intense core based exercises.

Use your free time wisely! Book in an extra one on one to hone your skills, take a trip into the city centre to soak up some of the historic culture, visit the coffee shops and markets or get a massage. There are many beautiful places nearby to explore and we’ll be more than happy to help you plan your afternoon.

Weekly challenge to run or walk the red stone steps and hike through the mountain to visit our Chinese temple. After seeing the temple we continue to the top of the mountain to visit the ancient pagoda on King Naresuan the Great, Kind of Thailand, the first emperor to fight against Burma bringing independence back to Thailand.
Our picturesque lake and river are a must see, join us for pad work at the lake side, there's also the unique opportunity to take offerings to our monks and receive their blessings.

Kru Jay, a Muay Thai veteran with over 60 fights, and the disciple of the greatest Muay Thai fighter of all time, Samart Payakaroon. Today he is president of the Muay Thai Association in Phitsanulok, and there is no better person to know when looking for a fight at your particular skill level. The Rangsit Muay Thai Institute and the Office Board of Boxing Sport have both gifted him teaching certificates and he is a widely sought-after teacher.
Kru Chan is a boxing veteran and playful coach. Kru Chan has taken multiple fighters to reach Olympic-level competition and continues to do so at JP’s Boxing Gym. This is no surprise, as he became the 2-time WBC Asian Boxing Champion and is widely respected in the sport. He is no stranger to Muay Thai, with 200 fights (148-52 record).

Flying into Bangkok and want to come straight to our camp by car? Book your flight to arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) or Don Mueang Airport (DMK). A pick up from Chiang Mai airport is also possible. We can arrange a private transfer to collect you from airport arrivals and bring you to the camp. We can also pick you up from any other address in Bangkok or Chiang Mai, like your hotel.
-Fly to Phitsanulok (or Sukhothai) airport
Phitsanulok has its own airport, so this makes a quick journey (1 hour) if you choose to fly here from Bangkok. Several flights leave each day, and if you book in time this journey cost you under 700 baht (extra for check-in luggage). Another (less recommended) option is flying to Sukhothai airport. We will pick you up from either airport for free!
